(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the rules about in-game chat messages. (3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another non pack track occasionally) (4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit. I think it's a fun car to drive, but the default setup on the X-Bov was useless to me, way too lively. I had to make an awful lot of changes to make it work.
I'm pretty close to John Passmore on the leaderboard chart, so it can't be all wrong :- ))

Only just bought and unlocked the car tonight, so my previous trials with it were limited to the default setup only, and I hated it. Now I've played with the setup a bit and now I love this car! Should be a fun race..

I had a go last night and even playing with the setup I found it pretty un-drivable. Perhaps someone could point me to a decent setup somewhere please?

I don't remember what I did, but I didn't do much to make them drivable I think a light right foot was required here over the blind brows Actually, I will have to play with setups when I get home later, as these series were created and tested from another location. To me they drove a bit Porka style, heavy back end and nothing much at the front. I probably stiffened the front, and softened the rear.

Got bored driving the KTM in AC but this model seems much more racey and lively.
Default setup seems ok although I had to make my usual steering lock adjustments (600 - 15) and shift the brake balance slightly forward to stop the back snapping around at corner entry.

I would have posted a screenshot of my setup, but I'm at work now, and for some strange reason, they wont allow me to install RRE on my working-PC What I remember is, that lowering the toe-in in front and less toe out at the rear helped a lot. I also had to lower the anti lock setting for the Wheel. Try loosening the dampers and the spring settings in general too. I also changed the anti roll-bar, but I don't recall in what way. Good luck with it Stig

Argh..... had a great start and came out of turn 1 as # 2 ...... only to screw it all up in the turn 2! Guess I couldn't handle the heat up front I apologize for having blocked the way for some of you guys. Next race I'll make sure to get back to my usual start position at the rear of the pack. Stig

LOL, shame you left Stig, was great fun when there was someone to race I kept making errors while racing so Eck got past, and then had Spanner hassling. I do like these things, I think the setups were harder here than "normal" tracks because of the crests. Sachsenring would likely be similar.

Hopefully its just track knowledge ,or lack there of, that made the difference. Otherwise, I'll be in the fight for last, every race...
Grats Tudor, John and Dieter, I was never really close to a race. Unless you count the end of the race, when you were catching up to lap me.

These things are obviously completely beyond my miserable abilities, I shall let Eck fight over last place by staying away.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the KTM Pete. That RR track is tricky and demands a lot of prior knowledge to get any car around quickly and consistently. I know it well because I always test cars there before I decide to buy so I've clocked up a few miles there. For instance, I was up to 4 tenths quicker in sector 1 than others because I knew I could hold 4th gear through the first chicane, which kept the car better settled at entry and carried more speed. I had a quick look and didn't see anyone else doing this in practice although towards the end of the race I believe JP starting doing this too as he began to close in. There are other areas of the track where time can be gained if you're more familiar with it. As for the race, I had to push hard at the start to get a safe gap and then concentrate very hard to keep it together. Towards the end I was just trying to pace myself to the flag without making any mistakes which probably allowed JP to get a bit too close as he found his pace.
