Practice: 19:45 BST (30 mins) Qual 2: 20:15 (15 mins) Race 1: 20:30 ~ 20 Mins Race 2: 20 Mins Reverse grid (first 6 places) taken from results of Race 1 Cars allowed: WTCC 2013 Track: Indianapolis Road Time of Day Setting: 13:00 Weather: DryStart: Standing Tyre wear: NormalFuel consumption: NormalPit-stops: None requiredServer: Simracing.org.uk E3H Password: see aboveChampionship StandingsNotes:(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the rules about in-game chat messages. (3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another non pack track occasionally) (4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit. (5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface) Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

As we discovered at Monza, these cars won't do 30 minutes+ without refueling, more like 20 minutes+. What to do, what to do

At Monza, I reset the server for a 20 minute race and with a final lap only left a couple of litres from a full tank.

Maybe we could consider doing a double header with these as we do with the RR Formula series? 2x20 min, reverse grid 2nd race

I do find it amazing that these cars only do 20 mins must be a sector 3 thing!
I think the idea of 2 races is a good one.

Double header sounds like what the BTCC people do, so would be almost real world. I thought of turning off fuel useage, but when I do that off like it disables all the setup options, not just fuel. Double header with reverse grid sounds fun. I will make it so cap'n.

1st post still says 30 min race, I'm right assuming we did adopt the dual header format aren't I? Need the right racing head on

No , it's me being senile. I have created a 2nd event, do I need to create a 2nd page as well? I assume not as the results update the one page.

I think I have done it. it's awkward adding a 2nd race to an existing one, it is apparently easier to delete the single event and then create 2 new ones, that way the event page is selectable for both events.

That was fun. I don't think the physics model is anything like close to a real front drive race car lift off oversteer is what you get with FWD, but the it shouldn't feel like the back end is on a wet track while the front is on a dry one That said, with some setup taming and carefull driving they are good fun. The reverse grid didn't seem to make any effect on the race! by the 1st corner the quicker cars had out dragged me and Stephen and were already in front. I lost it in T1 being probably over cautious and then had great fun chasing Stephen, sorry for the tap Stephen I misjudged you braking point I set the races to 19 mins to allow for the last lap possibly taking us beyond the fuel range and it worked out just right I thought.
