That was not a nice track to to start with these cars. Thought you were going for shorter tracks and assumed it was the short version! Going down the back straight towards the chicane was err... interesting. Think i onlt did one timed lap in the 30min practise! Soft springs, hard springs, hard soft dampers, ride height, think i went through the wole extreme. Switching to an external view and you can see the car getting airborne. Ended up going with dampers maxed out for qually whch i think helped and tried to reduce the front bias as i was locking up every time.

Made an awful start, assumed half throttle would be ok! Then seemed ot go round Eck into the first corner but shame he got discod. Seemed to cath up to Smiffy who didnt seem t fight too hard then was just monitoring the gap to GT until he fell off and let me by and then had a good few laps swapping places alot, couldnt quite hold on to first tho.

Hmm.. not sure what happened in each now.

Both seemed to end up hassling GT, wouldnt have thought it tbh based on pace!

I had problems with my Logitech profiler not recognising my G27 (I had steering and pedals, but no force feedback), by the time I had deleted the driver and re installed it qualifying had finished and it was too late to log in.

We would need Dave to help work out how we can input this info.
It doesn't look obvious (to me) exactly where to cut the file to split it into two races.

Where's the file? Nobody uploads the RRE ones to the replay site and it's not very obvious where on the server I can get them from.

I think Pete might have configured it to save them locally, but all the files we have ever had are
available in the other tab of the opera browser, which is my ftp server. The event server page is
configured to send them to that site.
This file is 201701150936.xml

Is it likely that this results problem can be resolved? If not I'll need to rethink the Formula Jr series.

Well, when we have done multi races before with P&G, GTL. We run them as two events, as in we restart the server
for the 2nd event. Here we are trying to let R3E itself do a double race in the same server event.

Perhaps you could restart the server for the 2nd race as we do in other sims? then we get two individual files
and I can enter them into LM2 as normal?

Just a thought.

Tony is a master of the double race format, I have done it in the past, but I need to think about it every time  Roll Eyes

Only problem with that is the reverse grid for race 2 which is what makes it such a fun series imo. We could switch to a longer single race but will need a pitstop because the tyres won't last, again not so much fun  Undecided

We've done reverse grids before in things. BUt it might have needed a manual edit to the grid slots
Not sure how we did that.

Are the results not seperated in that file? Could you not just copy and paste race 2 into a new file?

No need - I've updated the importer to be able to pick from the two results. Please take a look and let me know if anything looks wrong.

The only thing it can't currently do is set the starting positions correctly. If you reverse the top 9 you can hijack the old Race '07 "set starting positions from" after importing the second race. Otherwise, you'll need to set the starting positions by hand.

Thanks for doing that Dave.

From memory  wheelchair those race results seem to have the finishing positions correct which is really all we need (or is it?). The game itself sets the starting positions for race 2 from results of race 1 and there is a setting on the server to determine how many places are reversed.
