Practice: 20:00 GMT (30 mins)
Qual: 20:30 (15 mins)
Race: 20:45 ~ 40 Mins

Cars allowed: DTM 2016
Track: Lausitzring Automobilsport
Time of Day Setting: Afternoon

Start: Standing
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit-stops: None required

Server: Simracing.org.uk
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Tricky track this in these cars. Default feels too stiff but havent found decent improvement so haven't saved the setup yet! Softened everything up which felt like a good start.

Laps under the Leaderboard times... not many!

My car setup in the Audi: drop bump to 10, increase rear rebound by 2, drop rear toe to 0.15, drop front ARB to min, front spring drop one click, reduce rear ARB by 1. I've also reduced the diff preload to 2.

Sorry Pete. I know you were following SRW carefully, but I hadn't expected you to brake quite so early  Shocked Embarrassed

Don't worry I hit the back of SRW (sorry) before you hit me. I couldn't believe how late everybody else could brake, I watched 3 different cars during practice and each seemed to brake around the 100 board for T1. I was braking at the 150. I was braking before SRW's lights came on but still hit him during that incident. It was like I only had 2/3rd the braking power of everyone else.

DO you leave the brake bias as it comes? I make it 97% and move it back to around 52 front

I did adjust the amount but not sure where I left it, either 95 or 100%. I also moved the bias back a bit but again can't remember to where.

Haven't you recently changed your wheel and pedals Pete? Have you reset your R3E profile to correctly detect them?

Really enjoy this track strangely but even during practise I could tell tyre wear was going to be critical. I was never happy with the setup all through despite almost qualifying on pole, was still making last minute changes into the race.

Eck managed to keep the inside into the funnelling first few corners, Ant spun out surprisingly so was trying to put pressure on Eck. However it became clear that my tyres were going off quicker than Ecks over TS so was always mindful that I couldn't keep it up for long. Yes these cars have quite short braking distances and so takes a while to adjust for people ahead, plus the use of DRS for the first time. A rather eager use of DRS coming out fo the long right hander onto the 2nd back straight while still on the kurbs spat the car right into the barriers.

Never gone through the full tyre experience for the last 10mins I had no tyres according to the icon and were flashing red. Was always expecting a puncture at any moment.

Great cars to drive, but tough to race, shame we ended up with 5 at the end.
