Practice: 20:00 GMT (30 mins)
Qual: 20:30 (15 mins)
Race 1: 20:45 ~ 20 Mins
Race 2: 20 Mins Reverse grid (first 6 places) taken from results of Race 1

Cars allowed: Formula Raceroom Junior
Track: Hockenheim Short
Time of Day Setting: Afternoon

Start: Standing
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit-stops: None required

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Great combo :- ))

Unfortunately I had lagproblems due to my poor wifi- router and I didn't wanna spoil everybody's race.

Next tine I'll remember to cable up instead

Good fun that. Haven't got a clue about setups for these things so ended up making a few clicks that looked to be in the right direction......they weren't  Roll Eyes

Looks like the results for both races are correct and the grid for race 2 seemed set correctly from the results of race 1 so all good.

Grats to the pody and thanks all for some nice racing.

Intense stuff especially that 2nd race. I expected that run GT but I thought you'd use the track!

Shame about the mess at the start of the 1st race, at least one person quit as they couldn't be bothered to sit around waiting for the 2nd Sad

Also didn't save the random setup I created so the game binned it for me. No real idea what I did it was random bit at least allowed me to go a little quicker than the default. Guess it'll be guess work at the next race too Wink

I had similar issues as others with the wrong set up, turned my tires into butter and spent end of race 1 falling back.  After spin in Race 2 I knew a repeat was ahead and the Chick nagging for us to leave the house since practice, I just shut it down.  Would really like to get a better handle in these, they are what most racing schools train with.  Congrats to the podium John was untouchable.

Good fun cars! they do need a little tweaking to get them to behave!
basically I increase the front roll bar and rebound and increase the rear bumps to try and cut out power understeer and lift off oversteer and it kind of work for me.

grats to the other on the podium and see you at the next one!

Good fun. I managed to screw up my race in both of them
Race one I had done a quick setup, but forgot about brake bias, and went charging into
the back of Eck in T1 as the fronts locked  Shocked Sorry Eck, at least you managed to gain some places after.

race two I was on the front row with the reverse grid, and was not aware of anyone inside of me going into T1
until we got there, and in desperation to avoid contact I threw it left, spun in to the gravel, and regained
in last place  Sad In both races I ended up chasing down Steve, and trying to pass him with no success.
Was a good chase anyway Steve, well done for holding it together  Grin

Not quite, in other series you had to complete one lap to be included in the championship results. 2 or 3 drivers failed to take the 2nd race start yet have been allocated points.

Also the lap records are all messed up in RRE, seems not setting a time gets you a lap record Sad

The sudden crushing of any enthusiasm i had in a lap was too much to stick around.

After being really quite happy with things running right up the front in practise and qually was really looking forward to it. After a terible start i find i'm being squeezed against the wall on the inside after turn 1 enough for me to slow down and stop as i'm fuming i am then so annoyed i forget how quickly turn two appears and end up hitting people who were having there own issues. I then cant focus enough and start making mistakes and end up at the back. So annoyed i quit.

No probs sir, turn one and two were a bit scary. I'm really just glad not to disco in these races. In the end, I got 2nd in both races, nothing to complain about. Especially as JP was in another timezone, watching him passing peeps, round the outside in race 2, was a joy to watch "masterclass"....

Grats to JP, Carl and Pete. Thanks all for an eventful night... lol.
