Championship Standings

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

I am free to join thursday, however I haven't enjoyed driving this car in the sim.  I don't know how the real KTM is to drive, might be really fun and handle like a dream but Racerooms vers seems setup wrong.  Even just looking at the default bump and rebound settings seem all wacky and reversed.... In comparison to a snappy oversteering car, I've taken a friends very rear angry lotus around at local auto cross and is easier to catch and throttle back in line and keep in check.  Unless some one out there can share a setup that fixes all that lift off snap oversteer and throttle understeer crap, I've been wondering if it's worth trying to improve and practice with it.  Though I won the last round at Laguna, it happens to be my least fav to drive.  Maybe I'm just giving up on it to early.  What do you guys think?

I've not enjoyed these much either. Laguna Seca is not my favourite track but at least with the setup help I'd been given I was somewhere near other slower drivers. I'll give this a go again on Thursday but I don't expect to be competitive. I certainly won't get any practice in before Thursday, probably only when I jump on the server at 7:45.

I did some testing with these at a few tracks, and thought they were great, which is why I was so keen
to run them in this series. I think I have to mess with the setup a bit, but not at home so can't say
exactly what I do.

Sadly I spun on the 2nd lap and dropped 10 secs behind the others. However until Carl managed to get past they slowed each other down such that I halved that deficit. Was never going to catch or pass anyone in the time remaining but Eck kindly went grass cutting and let me through for an undeserved 2nd.

Nice to be almost competitive over a single lap. These are growing on me slowly.

WD Carl on your pace and consistency Smiley

Sorry to hear your mishap early on Pete, we all had fairly similar pace.  It was a nice back n forth with Eck, very solid driving from him, giving each other plenty of room.  This made it quite enjoyable, especially since I have hardly any confidence with these cars in side by side racing.  Shame he pulled off for a little landscaping, would have been close till the end.  My setup or lack of still feels like a gremlin is ready to pull the rug underneath you in every corner.  Looking forward to the next challenge mates!
