Practice: 19:45 BST (30 mins) Qual 2: 20:15 (15 mins) Race: 20:30 ~ 40 Mins Cars allowed: BMW M1 Procar Track: Spa Time of Day Setting: 13:00 Weather: DryStart: Standing Tyre wear: NormalFuel consumption: NormalPit-stops: None requiredServer: Simracing.org.uk E3H Password: see aboveChampionship StandingsNotes:(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the rules about in-game chat messages. (3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another non pack track occasionally) (4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit. (5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface) Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Umm, if that's what people want? I would have done the usual 30 mins, but I don't mind I am once again down in London with the worst possible hotel lowfi which drops the conn every few mins I can restart the server before I leave work, but obviously I won't be able to race..... WHich is annoying, as I really like these things.
I will, when I can redo all the future E4WTCC to be 2x 20 min races

I should have pointed out that the race announcement says 40 mins which is why I set it that way.....copy/paste strikes again I'm easy either way.....quite like the procar and it should be a good drive around spa.

We have ended up with this car because I wanted to mix it up a bit occasionally DTM92 every week could get stale.
I will make it 30 mins unless someone can say for sure that these will do 40 mins here without a stop.

I didn't even realize that it was the M1 till you mentioned it, don't have much seat time but after some testing laps, this might be fun. I calculated a 40 min race is around 15 or 16 laps for an average 2:30 lap time, tank is good for 21 around Spa.

Fun race for me trying to close down the gap to you GT. I got too hungry at final corner heading toward pit straight and put down too much power for a near spin, with 3 mins left couldn't catch you. Still prefer the 92 DTM's but this was a fun change.

Sadly last night's race was a struggle for me, slower than everyone in front and then a spin meant I gave up. More fool me as I see the import gave Spanner my place and he never even started the race

Messy start for me getting caught out by a heavy fuel load and cold brakes/tyres and losing my lead on lap 1 when I outbraked myself at the last chicane. Didn't think I'd catch Carl after that but guess I've had more time to get familiar with the M1 from previous races. Shame about the turnout again

Yep, I am seriously considering cancelling all future Thursday events It's no fun when a few dedicated people turn up, and don't have a decent field to race I am happy to run things if people want them, but I seem to be not getting the mix right. Shout up if you would like something in particular, otherwise Thursdays R3E is dead.

I always look forward to Thursdays, since it is easier for me to join on my lunch break here in California. The little lady is at work and zero distractions make for a nice stress relief. Actually I'm up for any weekday to do the same. Unfortunately and oddly Sunday's are difficult for me since it is noon, smack in the middle of the day and with a good weather weekend, I'm rarely home at that time. Being so new with you gents, I'm in no place to ask for schedule adjustments or request track/car change but would that help turn out numbers?
May I also suggest maybe a different day or more recruitment is in order ? Maybe start a poll. I'd gladly help recruit but it's rare to find mature clean drivers using more than a game pad or keyboard in the open rooms.
Is Nogrip still a good source, I used to contribute there back in my simbin GTR2 days.
