Nice, sure Maikel will too based on his pace!

Re the longer tail I found one click more front bump tamed the pendulum motion. Loved the way you can actually feel it's momentum in the tighter corners, great physics in this sim  Cool

Yeah, I'll stick with the Longtail. Kinda like the way it drives aswell and pretty easy to catch a slide. Will have to move the boost down to 80% so my race pace will probably be a second or two slower. No idea how long the engine will last with a 100% boost.

I did 3 laps and the engine was down to 907 (starts at 1000)

So your laptime was done on 100% boost? I have no idea how much of a difference it makes, I only turned it up on the straight and I think that was around 15-20 kph.

I did 3 laps and the engine was down to 907 (starts at 1000)

Guess 0 is boom? But before that, surely the damaged engine will perform less?

Nope, performance is the same until 0.. your engine starts smoking at 500

Hadn't done 50 yrds before I was hit from behind which sent me 180deg, then had to turn the car around using forward and reverse gears. By the time I got going everyone was long gone, tried to catch up but it was pointless. Not very happy when I actually made an effort to make this race.

Angry Very unlucky Mr.T, the opposite for me, had a good race, first half very close racing, second half on my own, must use these again a brilliant combo, thanks for putting this one on.

I had also a very nice race.. i was surprised about my pace, as it was 2 secs faster than my practice before.

i had Maikel in front of me going places in his long tail, after he flew by with at least 100 mph. I then caught up to Eck Simpson and we had quite the battle going on until he pitted.. i came in a lap after him, tyres must have been down to the rim. It felt like i had no grip on any of the tyres anymore Cheesy

my pitstop then was surprisingly long as refuelling these cars takes forever, however somehow Eck was 20 seconds behind when i exited the pitroad.

Dont know what happened to him, but i was very disappointed and seeing him leaving the server a few laps after made me sad.. apparently something frustrating must have happened.

anyways, i spend the rest of the race almost all by myself until i noticed Mark Ekins caught up a seconds each lap. very close finish between him and me and i have to say, these cars are a blast to drive.

thanks for hosting this Smiley

Had a lot of fun sliding around with the longtail, unfortanely my start was abit messy. I was waiting for the starting lights and then I heard everyone revving, so I was like; ok, lights are gonna come on anytime now... and all of a sudden everyone was off  Huh Good thing nobody ran over the sitting duck. Don't know why it wasn't showing, though I blame my pitcrew for it  Cool

Had some good fights with Denis and Eck for a while. Pitted probably a few laps to late as those mediums were down to 94%, switched over to the hards are those were alot better ( after about 10 laps they were still 98% ). Had 2 spins in total so around the last 6 laps I was around 30 seconds behind fmg and Jeffrey ( who seemed to be having a great close race, and hopefully slowing eachother down). Decided to just run the boost at 100% all the time, managed to take back around 15 seconds. Kinda feels like a prehistoric version of the strategic racing with the 919  Grin

Definitely would race some more with these.

who is up for that? Tongue

I've already got a race over at Core. Start of the Abarths  Tongue  Though they seem really popular as for the 1st race there are already 30 sign ups  Shocked
