Clive, I'm trying to report myself for hitting Doni (everyone/thing else was as a result of the wall so I see no point in my reporting something that obvious) while clearing the track.
I see now from the replay that he didn't simply get bonked as I thought but was totally wiped out and it was actually Dave's green car that followed me out of the melee.

Even from both replays I'm struggling to figure out if I'd have been pushed into him by the cars bouncing around behind me or not but as I had decided to go anyway I think it needs considering when you moderate this.

Sorry to you Doni, even last night after the race I had no idea you'd been fired out of the track at that point Sad

I think for future races it would be an good idea for everyone to trial running down the edges of the first mile or so. I never knew or even considered that the originals would have invisible walls to be honest, I don't want to be caught out again.

I've guess that papyrus never thought anyone would be stupid enough to race backwards Cheesy

Actually I think that the "invisible block" exists on the original Papyrus track when you navigate the correct way, but the reaction from the crash box is not as severe. Many times I have thought that I had nailed Rascass and got my braking and line just about perfect to clip the apex, only to be bounced out as if I had hit something.
So, please address all complaints to :- GPL Ltd @Papyrus.  Grin

As for the moderation. I will wait a few days for anyone who wants to confess to their sins to put in their excuses before I look at handing out punishment beatings.  I like to be fair  Grin Roll Eyes

Hey, Tim!  Give the rest of us a chance at meeting the royals, would you?  Smiley  Grats, again, on a fine win.

Well done to Sam for P2 and a terrific recovery drive by Clive for P3 after being pole-axed like me on Lap01.

Weirdness is the only way to describe the shunt off the start.  Undiscovered country.  I actually thought for a split-second that I was going to sneak around the mess on the inside but Tim suddenly lurched off the bales to nose into me and I went for a triple gainer(pike position).  After I regained consciousness, I pulled away in the T84 only to find it was down about 40bhp.  I could barely pull top gear.  Not wishing to reset, I carried on as best as possible and picked up a couple of spots thanks to retirements.  Bit of a disappointment in that I was way off potential pace but I did enjoy running this famous circuit in reverse.

Tim...  No need to file.  Just one of the racin' type deals.
