Okay no tyre warmers but make track temps around 30-32 degs  Smiley and don't blame me if you slide into a wall  Wink I just found it daft to have to do a min 2-3 laps in Aussie heat on stone cold tyres and makes practise sessions a waste spending half the time waiting for the tyres to warm up at 2+ mins a lap. I don't get hours of practise like some on here  Sad

Can people stop with the veiled criticism of peoples driving and just come out with it.

It comes across like your looking down on everyone your sharing the grid with. Clearly the last race has changed things!

I for one wont be driving on Wednesday night, not sure if its to do with 3rd party tracks but it feels completely different from Imola, almost like its gone backwards. Yesi can do lots of practise but whats the point practising on hot tyres when I cant really replicate the first laps on rubbish tyres with no grip.

It actually wasn't that bad. In the 19 laps I did I only had one crash.
Freak. Wink Grin

and one time I spun around exiting the pits on cold tyres  Roll Eyes
I'm sure I did that at least 3 times (muppet).

TBH I think the cold tyre effect here is minimal compared to other tracks so I wouldn't bother with tyre blankets.

You dont like this  moded track? Why?
I was drove in track modes in AC from first AC days and i can say what is it- bad track convert means. This mode still unoficial but have VERY good overall qualyty and done with talent and love. IMO - may be some more bumpy than in real. But ... Look in Zandvoort  Wink

Jeez everyone has turned into whiners over the last couple of rounds. I should have ended the series at Imola and I wouldn't have to hear all this complaining  Angry
You guys do remember this is for fun? With a good hint of competitive spirit  Wink just turn up and race, nothing's changed about the drivers involved and the track surface feels no different to Imola to me. Next week is flat wide Monza though no doubt the braking zones will be the new complaint  Roll Eyes people saying I'm not going to bother this round just dis-respect and lessen the race for those that normally race them each week, so get off your pretty high horses  gun_bandana

Oh and Baikal, that wasn't aimed at you  Kiss

Not that I can do this one, but I thought the track was well done, and much the same as any other variant I have driven
And the tyres were up to a useable, if not quite optimum grip by the end of lap 1, and were only silly slidey
for the 1st couple of corners.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Its only really silly slidey when leaving the pits but after a few corners its fine. VIR was the same for me.

hmm, think i'll stick to 8/10ths and try and get it home!  No idea how you guys are getting 2:08's   I Am Not Worthy everytime I try to push a bit harder it ends up in the wall  surrender already feels crazy fast just to get a 2:11  Shocked
My only available half hour practise was ruined by non srouk drivers not voting to skip sessions so we sat endlessly in the pit lane  Roll Eyes can't we remove 'race' completely from the practise server? Does it have to run all 3 sessions?
Not been able to do enough practise laps to do this track justice  :'( ...but improved to 2:11, so slightly happier  Smiley
