Yes, me too, as soon as I started the evening on the server, that car felt very different from when on the practice server. The tyres felt very over-heaty and made braking very tail happy especially. Tyre pressures seem wrong on the game, lowering them to lower the temps just seems wrong, but that seems to be what to do, but it's not what the tooltips say and it's not what I expect!

Sorry there won't be one of those fancy lap chart things for this race, the log parser barfs and doesn't produce anything usable

I found my car more understeery than oversteer. The two left 90 degree corners felt particularly so, the car just washed out on turn in. You sure you are watching tyre temp and not psi for adding/removing pressure? The results last night keep the championship real close for some of us I am enjoying a series long great 3 way fight with Fmg and Michael for 5th & 6th Shark can still overhaul Thomas with two rounds remaining. Nfsw prob needs a Maikel dnf to have any chance of being champion though. Cracking series

Watching both and the temps were nice and the pressures looked fine too. Reducing pressure should generate heat and adding pressure should reduce but it doesn't seem to be an effective way to manage the heat at all with the opposite happening? I ended up taking some camber out the of the back because of the feeling that it was over-heating even though the temps looked good.

My car felt amazing last night but I used the default setup. All I changed was brake bias up from 62 to 63 and aero down from 8 to 7. I didn't touch anything like tyres and I think they were all set to 16. I could push from the green light and had lots of grip. The only time I started to struggle was about 5 laps to the end and the back up stepping out on the last 90 degree left hander and the first 90 degree left hander. I just had to make sure I was smooth getting back on the throttle rather than stamping on it.

That was an incredible few laps and I was amazed I got the place back. I was half expecting to follow behind you after the first left kink when you were ahead but the door was so wide open that it would of been rude to not go through hehehehehe What does Saido mean?? It was free joke traslation from "Side By Side" ))) I corrected it now) Thanks for the battle- it was several laps / And you are cool- i had some slip here and you revert back your positiom in 1 moment. I was amazed too

Though for some reason I was losing about 2/10s of a second on the last straight compared to my personal best lap yesterday.
That's odd, cause I think I was faster than before as I think I hit the limiter a couple of times at the fastest part of the track. Wing was on 5. Higher pressures are supposed to give you a higher top speed, so maybe your pressures were lower or the extra heat made them stickier (and increase rolling resistance?).

I ended up taking some camber out the of the back because of the feeling that it was over-heating even though the temps looked good. My rear camber was high ( approx -5 ( max grip point) In low conditions temps it was not bad for me . But in hot weather its brings supergrip in rear axle ( ok by the logic) and i was forced to use brake balanse to rear for last and first conner for manage rear some better. And yes.. Aristotelis sayd that for this moment main thing is control PSI ( 26 ideal)- not tyre temps. So i was need to lower rear camber about 1-1.5 deg but i am not done it in GP prac session. Maikel knows how to make setups some better ))) BTW i use wing 7 here. Hope in better rear stability... I am not 18 but 50 )))

First Wed night race for a while and did I enjoy that. Not much praccy and no setup but only one mistake towards end of race lost me 4 places. Hard track to run fault free on, too many walls for an old timer. Look forward to next week.

At some point, I must have overwritten my VIR setup with default. I loaded it for Bathurst, without looking. All seemed well in practice and qualifying, so I went with it.
Running somewhere near practice/qual. times, I was just enjoying the race and company. I was running a little higher than I should've been, due to others difficulties. I messed up myself, giving a couple of those places back. It was all going too well, when the yellow fuel light came on. All manner of thoughts started, chief among them, "maybe my increased pace was to blame", "but all was fine at VIR?". Fuel stop coming, no matter what caused it, I was gonna get it right this time. I needed another third of a tank (in hindsight, this should've been a clue), thinking I had 40 litres onboard, somewhere around 13/14 litres would do it. I stopped fiddling when I saw 15, on the pitconfig app. While I fiddled, I'd lost time, Simon and Alexey had gone. Must've been a great battle, as I suddenly caught sight of them. Coming down into the dipper, they'd come together. I was never quick through there, so no danger of hitting anyone but I got those two places back. Only to go to the pit... I was never in the race from then on, or rather my mind wasn't. A series of fails and great driving by others around me, saw me drop down. I lucked into a couple of spots, to finish 11th.
Grats podium, thanks to all.

Air and track temps were very different between the practive server and Race server. Think track was around 27 or so in practice and 37odd in race as the air temp was up where Mark wanted it. Think I ended up having to add air to my setup for the race server, but then I also had something wierd happen with my setups so it might not have been due to the temp changes.
