After green button and "start" to the box I have thought that not was a race but practice again, I don't understood what to do, so I drive but with no concentration and in fact at the exit of eau rouge I kissed a tree  Cheesy
but no problem now we restart so i press esc.. ok now we restart.. ok now... ops
If mods say that race is valid and is not to delete from champs it's ok, archivied like strange event and go to the next race  laugh

After I crashed out on lap 2, falling prey to the flypaper disguised as grass which lines this demanding and treacherous circuit, I stayed on to watch the fun.  One by one drivers succumbed to the scenery. Most notably, Andy L and Tristan who both crashed at exactly the same point on the run-in to Les Combes, both catching the same piece of kerb and being catapulted into the trees by the flypaper within seconds of each other.  I settled down to watch Doni and Andreas battle it out, fully expecting one or both of them to end up in the vegetation. How Doni kept it on the tarmac and off the flypaper I don't know, he danced on the kerbs numerous times but never overstepped the mark. A quite brilliant drive.

Unfortunately Doni's magnificent effort is going to have to go down in UKGPL history as a non-championship podium.  The Mod team have looked at the unprecedented "Le Mans" start and the views of the majority of drivers and concluded the race should be re-run.

The date of the re-run will probably be sometime in July, i.e. at the end of the season.

Apologies to everyone concerned, especially to the drivers who managed to finish such a gruelling race.

Ok to rerun this strange race. I was lucky to finish the race without an off, very demanding track and more difficult than Papy version IMO. I had a nice battle with D.Rainier for half distance till he disappeared at La Source, disco?
Now I have a week to sort out the low fps at S/F straight even with Lite ver. and Low res. textures before 67 race.
Axel do you have any suggest? Win10, I5 + HD5770 + V2DX raster.
Ciao

Fulvio, you must use openGLV2! works way better.
CCC 15.7.1 is best for the 5770 but I have no idea about W10 Roll Eyes
I have my ATI settings not present atm.
Make shure the "disable intel speedstep" is checked in GEM+ settings!

Yes a re-run is fine as I had no race too...

Fulvio, I struggled with low FPS here, but not at any other track. I tried Lite and low res, but still not good. I too use Win10 with an i5, but OGLv2.
I did a short experiment... turn off antialiasing (normally mine is 16x).... and I have 60 FPS everywhere. Maybe 2x, 4x, 8x will improve it enough too.

As long as you have any intel CPU disable intel speedstep!
W7 is the same for the CPU, only less spyware...

All I can recommend to find the bottleneck of your system: use the Open Hardware Monitor plot and look after a GPL session

Make shure the CPU is in full speed and the GPU is in 3D mode Wink

If you use OpenGL at 1920x1080 resolution I can post my pribluda files to get this:

Just put these files into your GPL folder
then use the exe to erase the old version and to install this version,
then you must make new GPLxx.exe's with GEM...

Cookie, thanks for posting your Prib files. After the last Windows upgrade I have only be able to get OpenGLv1 working, but only for the older mods
Everything is back now - despite Microsoft's best efforts to screw things up.
