Stupid bloody game. Sure I had my foot hard on the clutch but the car rolled forward at the start when I engaged gear. I pitted to serve my (THOROUGHLY UNDESERVED) pit stop. Forgot that if you spend too long in the pits stationary that you are liable to get disconnected. The Ams season has been a bit of a nightmare.

Still hate this track.
Should have had a practice spin round here last night,  but didn't bother as I knew I'd still hate it tonight!

Tried a different Monza setup tonight;  seemed ok with a tow - but when that was lost, not so good.
Although had some fun with Billy during the qually session & thanks for the tow Gareth;  I'd have been a couple of seconds back without that.

Mainly uneventful race which was good.  GPL did not crash to desktop either;  so maybe removing the updated Brabham graphics last time did help...

Towards the end [after 50%] I was getting braver & not necessarily braking at as many corners/no longer changing to 3rd for the 3rd gear corner.

Anyway - congrats Gareth & podium.
Unlucky Billy.

Cheers,
Dave.

Congrats Gareth and Bastian, good race everyone!

I owe a huge thanks again to Gareth for helping me get up to speed with his setup and replay. The setup was a work of art.

I am sorry for the pileup in the tight right hander. I slowed down 20 mph more than usual and chaos ensued. I am thankful to Fran for helping me turn right side up again. It really was a shame that Fran and Fabio needed to reset after the accident.

The rest of the race was very entertaining for me. I had the better concentration than normal, and I tried to maximize each lap.

I am really looking forward to Road America. My favorite track in North America. Thanks to organizers and to our host!

My first time in the Ferrari and I didn't quite have my gears right but it was stable enough.

Had a nudge on the start line before the flag which confused me and I lost a couple of places off the line but made them up with a couple of passes on the way to T1/2 and an accident in front.

Was running second for a long time and early pace was OK but Bastian started to catch me and once he was in the tow there was nothing I could do stop him. We swapped places a couple of times and there was a contact, maybe warp, but I think I was on my side of the track.

I was hoping for a tow off Fabio as I lapped him but he spun before I got to him and Bastian caught me again and brought Walter with him this time. Had a good battle with Walter with a few corners side by side and no contact. That slowed us and meant Bastian got away and Steve caught us. Walter waited patiently for a chance which I kindly gave him with a bad exit and then I had to fight off Steve for the last couple of laps. Almost turned second into fifth.

Love the track but need to work on the Ferrari gears.

Moderation posted.

Usually, I consider it is not normal a racer could perform moderations for his races... but in this case there was no reported incidents and reset (only one here) was correctly done.
Currently, and may be for a few months, Philippe G. is not available  to race with us and to moderate races.
I hope everybody understand the situation...
