If we use the classic tracks then my vote would change to Grp C  Grin

Well i can only assume we have no choice but to run the GT3's right after the Gr. C cars then. Wink

This '88 track pack looks good. There are 10 tracks, but i don't know if all of them fit the Gr. C cars that well. Maybe to replace one or two of them?

Found out its part of an even bigger pack
http://assettocorsa.club/mods/tracks/grand-prix-1988.html#en

Not sure if this is just an older version and the other link is an improved one of those tracks, haven't had time to test them.

Just tried Spa and its ace. Suzuka is ok and not tried Mexico yet.

Great. These tracks seem more appropriate. Still have to take into account the fast vs twisty tracks.

I would hope that we would at least use Spa, Paul Ricard, Adelaide and Montreal.

i could really do with some feedback from a variety of drivers on laptimes they can do in each car at a mix of tracks, otherwise we will not know the whole picture before committing to anything.
A diverse 3 tracks could be a ultra fast one like Spa/Monza, fast but twisty like Mugello/Brands hatch, and a tighter track like Adelaide/Imola.

So get some laps in  Grin  remember I am not about for 2-3 weeks now so I cant do any testing and that may delay starting a new series. I don't know about you guys but I am already sorely missing that weekly competitive vibe from a proper series!

this pack appears to have newer versions than the one you first linked too, ie Adelaide is now 1.3, it was 1.2 in the first.   Smiley

Pick 1 track for testing. Once some people have done some laps,  pick the next track, or else it will be hard to overview.

Spa would be a good first track, after the fun race last month many of our regulars should at least have 962 times for both variants.

Well that was Spa modern but times were 2:12 to 2:15's in the 962's.

Group C 1982 WEC series:-

1.     Autodromo Nazionale Monza   18 April
2   United Kingdom The Pace Petroleum 6 Hours   Silverstone Circuit   16 May
3   Germany Rudolf Caracciola Wanderpreis 1000 Kilometres   Nürburgring   30 May
4   France 24 Hours of Le Mans   Circuit de la Sarthe   19 June/20 June
5   Belgium Trophee Diners Club 1000 Kilometres   Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps   5 September
6   Italy Trofeo Banca Toscana 1000 Kilometres†   Mugello Circuit   19 September
7   Japan WEC in Japan (6 Hours)†   Fuji Speedway   3 October
8   United Kingdom Shell Oils 1000 Kilometres† Brands Hatch

So I guess any of them will do for starters for lap times but otherwise the tracks I suggested a few posts earlier for variety. I don't even know if Grp c is say practical at Adelaide  Undecided
