Very few seem keen based on the turn outs.
I think they'll balance up over race distance as the Merc's power advantage is killed by it's hunger for tires.
The Mazda's seem the best balanced and strongest but that may be because Jeffers was driving one!

I'd race but am worried you'd have a sub 10 car grid.  Sad

They don't really interest me I'm afraid. Just didn't find them enjoyable, interesting or very exciting, especially when we have so many other grest cars and tracks to choose.

Only managed the one race but liked them, suspect I'm in the minority.

Seemed impopular during testing and will be impossible to properly balance out.

Maybe so, but that was also due to it being a fun race imo. Rarely +10 car grids.

And these cars demand a fair bit of practice and setup, so driving them on a non-standard track for a one off race is not gonna get you a lot of drivers anyway.
I do too think racing them over more laps it already is a bit of an equalizer. Add some 35-40 kg to the Merc. Get a mix of fast vs twisty tracks and it could get fun.

Might be tempted into some Group C action but can't guarantee I'll be around for every race these days.

I think the group c are only viable as single car races. As an option, you can take the physics of the best car, either the short tail or mazda and put them in the other cars, as some sort of league version. That way you can have different looking cars that are still all competitive and the same.

Hmm tricky decision then  Undecided  I can see grid numbers were low to very low but it was over Easter spell when many are away and they were infill fun races. But did notice a few old faces have shown an interest too. Bit in-conclusive really.

So, I'm un decided whether to push ahead with group C or take the hint that it's grids will not be big  Undecided or run the popular Blancpain gt3 series 2017  Smiley
To me it's win win as I love both and with the real series now 2 rounds in, it grabs interest.

Regarding group C, If the Sauber is so much better than the other two we could either give it ballast or drop it from the choice. Races would be 1hr long so a pitstop would be required.
The poll vote went 8-6 in favour of Grp C but that may have changed since two test races? I could delay Grp c to another time  Undecided

I stand by my opinion, group c is only possible as single make. The sauber didn't win, so it's  not that easy to decide which car needs to be slowed down. And with the difference so big,  the balancing needs to take extreme proportions.

Maybe we need to do a new poll too see how much interest there still is for Group C and other possible series?
