Sorry for the collision, AAA.  However, I cannot understand why you would chose to try to barge through a door that you just have to know is going to be closed.  The correct approach to the next corner is on the right side of the road where I was heading.  The entire left side of the road was wide open to you.

I hope you guys had more fun than I did.  Angry

What can I say !!! taz taz taz taz taz taz

AVG decided to "upgrade" my antivirus and auto PC maintenance software without any warning or option to refuse, and it has screwed/blocked/confused GPL, GTL and my internet connection. There might be more stuff that has suffered, but I just have not found it yet! To think I pay to have AVG screw me up??!!

Trying to join the server for the race was pure torture, joining via IP I must have hit the "join" key a hundred times and on just 3 occasions it actually hooked up. On one occasion it immediately lost the server again and I was disco'd. The second time all seemed well, until I left the pits and it was as if I was running on 36fps with huge lag!! Sorry to Roo ( I think) who materialised behind me, so I hit the escape key and went to check the 60fps patch. All Ok, so another session of pounding the join key until hooray! "connection established". All cars showing on prib so let's get a few laps in and start at the rear? half a lap later I get CTD!!!

Try once more but the race had started......................................... not very happy!!

Sorry Axel, I got a bit of radar lock on you going deep & missed the turn in, caused myself to half spin & nerfed you. I you hadn't also half spun I probably would have missed you Wink No compensation for you I know, sry Sad

I tried to catch up from the back after that. Mistakes ahead gave me some positions but not being used to race situations at this new track meant errors whilst trying to leave room for people = the back again.
Eventually more mistakes from others gave me p3. Can't say I'm celebrating though. Again, sry Axel.

Grats to all, thanks for hosting.

Sorry to hear guys...

I had a blast at this event, used to be my favo track with IndyCar Racing 2, and I'm familiar with the lay-out also having driven it with N2003 mods like PTA. Anyway the trackmakers have done such a splendid job making this track. It's up there with my favo tracks.

Suffered a blanked screens event in quali, out of the last corner, being on a low 2m21ish lap...decided to press mouse button each lap in the race and that seemed to help preventing a blanked screens event again...

Took my Stardust setup, reversed the camber and adjusted gearings. The Cooper was on rails, and despite being slow on the straights I could hold off Tristan most of the time until he caught the draft. After a mistake by him I drove fast and consistent enough to keep a comfortable gap and finally got that T77 win that had eluded me.

Fun drive on a fun track. Well done finishers! Commiserations to the DNF's Wink

Roo, I just looked at the replay and saw it was a 50:50 RI imo.
A pitty to end such early on this great track.

Good qualifs but not enought for pole position, and the race sound the same ..... BRM was not a bad choise , unfortunatly in race I had many lags and also my left wheels turn quickely to deep red ...of  course it's handicap for me but anyway Rob was too fast , even when I take the lead , I try to push to escape but I slide too mutch and happy whith the 2 nd place , specialy because I had not enought fuel in the last lap .

wd Rob and finishers.....nice track but not very stable for me ....Smiley
