Moderator's Report

3 reported incidents, 2 between Francesco and Bastian.

I would say to Francesco : \"Don\'t forget to look at the mirrors and do not try to overdrive, especially on first laps\"

and to Bastian : \"be more cautious, especially on first laps\"

About Shift-R and stop and go, everything was fine.

Server replay time: 0h01m28s

BASTIAN vs FRANCESCO

Bastian said Fran closed the door
Fran said Bastian was too agressive, especially on the first lap

I would agree with both !

From my opinion, Fran closed the door but not voluntary ...he simply partially lost the control.
Bastian was trying to overtake on a difficult place, he should have been more patient especially on this long track with a long straight and multiple places to overtake

No contact between the 2 cars but Bastian had to go on the grass

Racing incident for me

 • Racing incident

Server replay time: 0h01m55s

again BASTIAN vs FRANCESCO

Bastian said Fran moved into his car.

Quite the same than first incident for me, but with harder consequences : contact between the cars and lot of time lost.

I think Fran again loose control and there is no really bad intention
and again Bastian tried to overtake on the more difficult place of the track.

Server replay time: 0h04m33s

BASTIAN vs BILLY
Billy said it was his fault
Rear end shunt made by Billy vs Bastian\'s car

The collision was very violent : Billy was running at 202 km-h and Bastian at only 151 kmh when the incident happened.

Billy is clearly responsible and he recognized it but Bastian was very slow at this place :
In comparison, Gareth was running here at 209 kmh, Rainier at 196, Bird at 190, Fran at 193 !

No show I'm afraid. Still can't get any connection between the top (middle) 60deg of my wheel and the front wheels of a GPL car...apart from the 55's where it seems to be a genuine help. It's a Logitech G902 and it's taken a vast amount of time to get it working well on other games...But I can't see a way of clearing the dead spot in the wheel.

Geoff your wheel is basically a G25/G27, so it should work perfect in GPL. I'm pretty sure that there is something wrong in your settings. First thing I would check is the linearity and make sure that in Gem+ steering hack is off.
My settings are below:

That was a lot of fun.
I kept spinning in the opening laps and found my self p3 and 25 seconds behind Dave.
I summoned my inner Mansell and went to hunt him down, I got close but ran out of laps.
Grats Dave on a fine win and to finishers.
c u next time.

Thank you Gareth.

A very difficult race for me. I took almost all the risks to win and have no time to slow down.
Hopefully, I made no mistake.

During the 2 or 3 laps, I tried to follow Gareth but I quickly understood he was faster with the BT7 than me with the Lotus !
Then he made a mistake and I could overtake him and I had a very comfortable gap, Gareth said 25 seconds, but suddenly I saw the gap decreased very quickly (something like 1 or 1,5 sec per lap).

Honestly I was even more stressed when I overlapped Bastian, he let me overtake quite easily but them he followed me very closely and I understood if I made a mistake he will surely rearend me and ruin my race ...

But the biggest trouble happened during the 2 or 3 final laps when I tried to overlap Francesco. he alwas stayed on the racing line, he didn't slowed  and I was forced to take big risks to overtake him at the first turn after the starting line, a very dangerous place.
As Gareth was only 2 or 3 seconds behind me, I was forced to take this risk ...but Francesco, I don't find very fair your way of driving.
Maybe, your idol was Pier Luigi Martini, a guy who never understood what meaned a blue flag in the 80's !

I will have a look to the replay and maybe report an incident.

Sorry Dave but you arrive behind me at lap 25,if i'm not wrong, after one my mistake and i have lost a lot of time.I was convinced that the car behind was the other Dave....Curtis,so the intention was to not lose the position.I were glases (myopic)and at the distance of the screen i have difficult to see the small letter of pribluda,so i look pribluda only on the straight.Only after the starting line i have realized that Curtis was again behind and the two cars behind me were the two first position.Sorry again.

P.S:in other race i tried to look pribluda into a curve but i'm  finished out of the track.
If you have time could explain me in which way is possible to upload pictures in this forum?I have not yet understood. Grin

You can upload pictures elsewhere (I use imgur.com), and then use the "Insert Image" button to post them here.

Well i was very pissed by Francesco's driving who ruined my race at the beginning-

I was quicker than you (that time) and i had to think about my own race so I stayed close, agressivly.
I would have liked to figth you within being us in the same lap Dave.

Without the start incidentst I would have become third maybe, in the end 5th, was not much to catch up Dave.

Ok, say you have a picture saved on your hard drive that you want to share here. Go to imgur.com, and hit the green "New Post" button at the top. You can then either browse to the image on your hard drive, or drag&drop the image. It will create a page like this: http://imgur.com/a/7SSJX. Now right-click on the image, and choose "Copy image address".

Then in your post here, hit the "insert image" button. Two tags that look like this: http://and [\img ] will appear. You want to put the address for the image at imgur between them, so you'll have something like this in your post http://i.imgur.com/Avc1jlv.png. If you did everything correctly, you'll get this.

Francesco, with Pribluda the drivers which are overlapping you are not in the same colour (usually in red)
Moreeover, I know it is easy with Pribluda  to change the font and to have bigger characters

changes should be done in pribluda.ini (don't forget to backup your previous ini file before any change)

Yes i know but as explained before i avoid to look at pribluda if i'm not on straight.Keep in mind that i'm not young and my eyes are not able to focus immediately what pribluda say.Red,yellow or blu if i avoid to look have a very little importance. You arrive behind me in a place with only curves, until the starting line i was convinced that the car on my right was Curtis when i have realized that was not so i have released the gas but was a bit late.

Francesco look on my pribluda settings, If you want them and use OpenGLV2 rasterizer I can post them.

My position is in the center on top with distances in meters, so not much eye movement to see where others are!

Thank you Axel,i have more or less the same.As explained over i'm myopic but when i read, for example a book,i don't use the glasses. With glasses is impossible to me to focus the word. The problem is that, to drive with the PC, i must stay at a distance from the screen very critical.  With the glasses or not to focus the letters and numbers is a problem,is a mid way where my eyes fail. Some evening the situation was so critical that i thought to give up the race(not for pribluda but also for the track details). When i look to pribluda is not immediate the focus and than to understand what happen.Every time that i have tried to look pribluda not on a straight i was finished out of track or worse.
For this reason i avoid to look other than the road.Yes was a mistake with Reinier but at the end all is finished in the best way.

P.S:waiting the explanation of Logan could you explain me the method used to upload this picture?

I use https://picload.org/ to upload a picture.

When the upload is done I take the directlink and copy it.

Here I click on the image icon and insert the copied directlink...
