Damn my Porsche looks sexy good action shots. if anyone has some good images from the race and a replay that would be great as I can stick it on the Kunos site for a bit of advertising. With Jeff back in the mix I think you front 4 or 5 guys are going to have a hell of a season long battle at amazing pace. Its good that a Lambo won here as it reflects the real event last weekend, where the Huracan was the best car.

I think you're right Mark. Some crazy quick guys racing with us now and the battle at the front will be intense. I finished the last championship in 8th but I'm not sure I will do the same this season. I might squeeze into the top 10 but it will be tough.

That's why I was very chuffed to get a 5th place finish at a track that doesn't suit the Porker too well with all its cambered corners and no weight over the front wheels. (Though I'm sure the aliens are still quick in it)

Bloody large windows update came through day before and had affected the triple screen settings, my sound and the wheel so spent all of practise trying to sort them all out, getting stressed. Not what I needed.
Happy I did my quickest lap but depressing to see how much faster people are going.
Bit disappointed but then its not like I've done a race in the car before! Was running 8th at one stage after the melee in the first corner, but a few random spins meant I dropped right back, struggling with a lack of front grip compared to the rear.
Gives me a few areas to work on still with the setup

Try the setup market spanner, there are usually some decent improvements over default on there, though still the odd duff one. You can filter by car type on there.

A guy called Gregor Kinski made setups for all GT3 cars at Mugello. They all seemed pretty good setups, maybe a tweak here and there. They were made for 1.12, but I don't think a lot changed for the cars. He also made some 1.13 setups, but haven't tried them. Good base to start of if you are looking for setups. I used his setups for testing at Brands.

I downloaded a few setups from the market for Brands and I was surprised how absolutely rubbish some were Had to change most of them ( I think only one Porsche setup was pretty good ). Way too stiff suspension, gearing making no sense whatsoever. I don't trust most of those setups on there anymore, I only try to find a few made by familair names

Using hisome setups was just convenient for me. Setups for all the gt3 cars by the same guy and for the same track. Maybe some Setups were bugged because they were for 1.12. For instance the lambo setup, it had maximum ARB at the front and back. Maybe it was actually meant that way, but I hated it. But at least you get a base to develop your own setup.

Would not have minded if you had just taken off, it was accidental and you are so much faster than myself, sorry it compromised your race.
No need to apologise to me Bob! I'm the one who hit you! Faster or not I'm not going to just hit and run on something I'm fairly certain was my fault

Sorry guys but I guess there is something wrong with the Team Championhip points. Me and Gavino collected 30 + 13 points, so the VDA Team should be at 43 points instead of 45. Shark team should have 20 (Maikel K.) + 17 (Simon Gymer) + 5 (picnic) = Tot. 42 points, instead of 45. What am I missing in your maths? I didn't checked the other teams, but I just wanted to point it out cause nobody did noticed it until now. Thank you

Good question. :-) No idea. :-) It's only top 2 for each team so it's actually 20 + 17 for Team Shark (37), whereas VDA, as you correctly say, should be on 30 + 13 (43).

From memory a driver who's not in a team doesn't 'steal' points from team drivers. For example if the winner is not in a team and the guy who finishes 2nd is the 2nd place guy will get team points as if he won the race
