Frustrating night for me  Sad. Really cheeses me off when I put everything into practise before the event and qually to get myself as good a grid slot as possible at a track like this only to get whacked off track on lap flipping one  Roll Eyes Angry. Probably a good job the replay didn't work or I would dish penalties for lap 1 contact.

Qualified 10th behind the alien gang (and Michael! Who pipped me by 2/10ths - which I lost in just a bad exit on the final corner-d'oh!)
Got a decent start albeit jostled by a few mercs in t1&2 but kept my place right round to the final hairpin where I was clattered from behind and dropped to about 17th  taz
This was a nightmare as meant I dropped behind the no practisers! And with this track so hard to pass I was getting very frustrated losing so much time behind much slower cars.
Eventually I re caught Pete and apex who were having a real ding dong and when a car sized gap opened up between them I went for it. Knew it was risky at 3 abreast but Thought I had pulled it off until I went to brake and got clipped at the same time on my rear quarter. Don't know what happened to Pete but he quit soon after  Undecided hope it wasn't as a result of that.
Then had a cracking battle with Ecks merc that lasted quite a few laps until I got him with a sweet exit out of t4 to move up into 14th. Then chased Spanners Ferrari for a few laps steadily closing. He too defended well for a few laps until he got a wobbler at the fast 2nd right at the back of circuit.
Upto a dismal 13th I caught bob and Linus having a tussle but didn't have time to take advantage as the race ended.
Great track and cars, just a needless frustrating result after the disco at Silverstone  Sad should have been a top 10 finish on pace.

Strange as it also doesn't load the qualify session, but it does load the 2 minutes of the next practise session where everyone was still chilling in chat for a little bit after the race Undecided

I've just checked my skins and I have them all. I wonder if anyone on the AC forum has had a similar issue. Will be well annoyed if we lose this replay as I have every one so far and the battle with Bob and FMG was epic.

Problem is known with the devs:

http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/replay-doesnt-work-after-update-1-14-1-pc.45400/

They expected a fix on Tuesday, but guess they are still working on it.

car 2 is Simon Gymer aka Shark. He and Pete are both using the same skin so I wonder if that might cause the replay problem? Though not sure why it might  Undecided

edit..oh I see a known fault has been found, ignore me  Tongue

shame there were 6 no-shows tonight,  Sad only one I knew of was nsfw as he was off to the VLN.

Also a shame there is no replay as sounds like there were many great fights throughout.  :'(

Baikal also reported beforehand. Hopefully they will get it fixed asap and make it backwards compatible.

Enjoyed that, although I got a drive thru for a jumped start
How are you supposed to start in this? This is the 3rd time running I have a jumped start penalty
which stopped me from having an even better race with people.
This time, I kept my foot on the brake while I put it into gear, every other sim I have ever done
lets you engage 1st with the clutch in and the car doesn't move, plainly I am missing something

What a race!
Started from the fifth position I had a great start and pulling the brake a bit I gained the third place immediately. At the Quercia corner with cold tyres I risked a bit pulling an hard braking again, touching slightly Jeffrey's car and waiting a bit to let him pass again. That costed me the third position but fortunately Jeffrey was able to maintain the second place.
Lap after lap Massimo was attacking Jeffrey in quite every corner with me adding to the party from time to time, then I went on the gravel at the exit of the Tramonto corner and I lost contact a bit with the duo. After 3 or 4 laps of hard battle Massimo passed Jeffrey on the outside of the "Curvone" with a kind of crazy manouvre Cheesy, but it took me several laps to regain that 2 seconds of gap between me and Jeffrey.
Fortunately Jeffrey's tyres seemed a bit 'cooked' in the last laps, but I did struggle a lot to prevail on him, with a couple of 'caress' to his chassis before the 'good attempt'. I admit that I've been a bit too devoted to Jeffrey during this race Smiley, but fortunately we both managed to avoid any major incident. It comes to my mind the touch at 250 km/h at the Curvone, but I completely misunderstood your intentions and I risked to cause a disaster, beeing very lucky not to lose the control of my Lambo and cause a spin to your car.
However, one of the best race of my 'career'. Thanks guys Wink

Massimo asks me to thank Jeffrey for the duel. Don't be afraid for the overtake, in his real life Massimo is even more crazy. Cheesy

Gotta say this AMG is so slow in a straight line. All the cars bar the Z4 are way faster on the straights. Was expecting the Nissan to be fast on the straights, but even the McLaren easily pulled away from me even if I inches from the bumper on corner exit. I gotta feeling this is what I didn't like about the AMG last time I drove it.

There was a lot of bumping and barging on lap 1 including me and I knocked Jonzo at one point (sorry). He was then behind others so slowing to let them all past so he also get back past me meant I was right near the back and the rest of the race was catching back up again.

Quite a good circuit but if they are going to let you use all the red and green bits they may as well turn them into track, otherwise put big **** off kerbs on them.

I would love to see Kunos do a version of this track. Quite surprised they haven't to be honest considering its Italian and used in the Blancpain. I think it would be a very different looking and feeling track to this version we use.

I wish the were cooked, they were stone cold the whole race, much colder than during practice  Sad. Guess I didn't push to the limit as much.,

It comes to my mind the touch at 250 km/h at the Curvone, but I completely misunderstood your intentions and I risked to cause a disaster, beeing very lucky not to lose the control of my Lambo and cause a spin to your car.

Didn't expect a late move in that corner, and once I am turned in, I am already holding on for dear life  Cheesy. Was amazed to not see that turn into a huge crash, as I've seen low speed minor fender benders turn into big crashes. Guess AC's impact system is still a joke  Tongue.

Massimo asks me to thank Jeffrey for the duel. Don't be afraid for the overtake, in his real life Massimo is even more crazy. Cheesy
