Shame about the contact at the start Matt, thanks for waiting. I'm sure it had nothing to do with it but I was so close to having no front left tyre at the end. The tyre app showed an empty flashing red rectangle for the last 2 or 3 laps. Was expecting it to go pop at any moment.
Eck found some speed for the race so I don't think I would have finished higher than 3rd even without the contact. Mind it Dieter hadn't spun and let Mark passed I'm not sure I would have caught them up but their battling cost them some time.
I rarely do any pre-event testing and that's not going to change for a while with my dodgy knee. Very happy with 2nd on the grid as I limited myself to one flying lap to give the knee the best chance of surviving 30 mins of racing
I picked the Volvo as I have one parked on my drive and I'll continue to make pseudo random selections whatever cars you choose. Sometimes it'll be the same as everyone else / the fastest / the slowest - I won't know until race time.
