Hmm well I lost last nights practise due to hardware issues why do they change the sodding interfaces all the time?! I thought hdmi was the main cable now they use only 'display port' or mini dp ...I had neither :'( also had to buy a sound card today as my shiny new Mobo didn't support 7.1 'Hope' to get some laps in online tonight depending on any other unpleasant surprises.

All you need now is a VR headset.............. Ha I have been trawling VR threads the last few days after speaking to Pete (who had it) my new hardware is man enough to run it well (1080 gtx card with i7 6700 ) I just need to test one out first.

Same PC spec as myself, it runs sweet, a different dimension to AC. Not made me any faster though.

Hmm after half hour or so I started to get big gfx shudders then the dreaded cpu 99% occupancy warnings with this mammoth spec! Any ideas guys? It's showing 122fps in the benchmark

I did have a few sudden pauses when on last night. Didnt notice any warnings though, just put it down to someones ping.

Yes that's true it did start when some other driver (non srouk) entered or left the server. Curtailed practise for this one but I seem to be reasonably on the pace in the 57's Gavino as usual is setting the pace on 1:56.

Just a question about pit stops guy. I learned in Silverstone's race at CORE that you can cross the pit lane entry line at a higher speed than the prescribed limit of 80 km/h without taking a Stop & Go. In alternative, if the game gives you a Stop & go, you can simply ignore the penalty according to their rules. I'm just asking because in that race I've lost three positions during the pit procedure due to my slow approach to the pit compared to the other drivers who passed the pit lane line at 190 km/h. I was not able to find anything about this in your rules, so if you can put some light on this I would be thankful to you. Thanks for your answer and see you later P.S I didn't experience any issue about CPU Occupancy >99% on Monday, but for the second time in an add-on track I suddently lose the feedback on my wheel at the first chicane after I passed on a hallow. Same happened to me even on the Estoril track during a couple of training sessions and even during the official qualif session. Strange thing cause it didn't happen at all when I was training on Spa or Silverstone. Anyone else got this problem before?

All drivers should be using the pit lane speed limiter as built into the game, ie the one that kicks in automatically. I am surprised Core do not enforce that in their races. Any drivers seen on the replay or spotted by others not doing it will get a penalty in the form of a drive-through at the next race. if we all use it then nobody gains an unfair advantage. I don't remember losing ffb last night, maybe once I got the 99% cpu occupancy error. Kunos have recommended I cap my fps at 90 so will try that.

In CORe they use the speed limiter and it kicks in automatically, but drivers used to cross the line (the point in which the speed limiter kicks in automatically) well above the speed limit of 80 km/h and then let the game to slow you down. So maybe the correct questions should be: Can we pass the pit lane limiter line above the speed limit of 80 km/h, or we have to slow under the 80 km/h before the line? 2nd question In the case you get a penalty for pit lane speeding you have to do a Drive Trough? Thank you

Thank you Atleast for this race at Paul Ricard it doesn't matter, as its almost impossible to go in faster in that tiny pit entry And you'd need a different app I think that gives penalties for crossing the pit entry line at speeds higher then 80 ( or was it something to be set into the plp app, not sure )

I didn't realise you could cross the line over the speed without incurring a penalty. Maybe Pete can confirm if this is a server side option to be ticked? I want the pit speed limit enforced preferably. in my opinion you can drive flat out upto the game enforcing the pit limiter which then auto slows you to the legal pit speed. If however the game gives you a penalty then yes you should do a drive through within 3 laps. Hope that clarifies.

Bah your not pushing hard enough, Maikel was doing 1.55's in that car last time we raced here Last time around I was in the Mercedes ( nfsw was in the Nissan ) and that was quite a few versions ago, the cars, and tyres, have changed quite abit now. @Bob, I can put my setup on stracker tonight if that helps. Though the Nissan still feels too "floaty". I'm using the 488 @ Core and that thing drives so much better. It actually has grip.
