99 deg on my 4 cores, and the GPU fan was trying to take off, but no stutters at all.

Had a decent race, but was surprised at the speed of some cars on the straights.

Start was typical, losing a few spots since the Nissan is too fat. Quite a clean and hectic start. Then coming on up to the straights I thought I'd blast by the rest of the cars, only to get side by side with nfsw Porsche and MJ whooshing past in the slipstream  Shocked I couldn even pass Felix in his AMG even while slipstreaming.....the only thing the Nissan is good at and even there it sucked here   Angry
Normally I love Paul Ricard, one of my favorite tracks, but the Nissan even ruined that. I don't know if I messed up the setup or anything but the car wasn't any fun to drive. Was glad the race was over. I even managed to miss my pitstop spot since it was placed right at the beginning and I had to reverse into it.

Would anyone object to me switching to the Ferrari? I'm using that one at Core and I just don't have any time to work out a setup with Nissan. And the fezza is alot more fun to drive  Grin

Others were allowed to swap, so I don't see why you can't. Driving a whole seaosn without having fun is a waste.

Fine by me, but only if you are willing to exchange setups!  Tongue

Yeah, but promise me that in case I will have the chance to attack you, you won't pit as Jeff did yesterday. He deprived me of the taste of chasing and fighting, without the chance to have a target during my race. I will report it to the moderators  Grin Grin

I don't know who's fault it was as I had no way of looking back or sideways in my cockpit to see where he might be (lost all settings and controllers with my rebuild) so I just took my normal line as I had my nose ahead (I think). Need to see the replay and if it turns out my fault I'll swap race positions with Eck in the standings...but only if clear cut  angel

Nor do I, I've been wrong too many times before... whomever is at fault, I'm not looking for any change in positions sir.

I was very surprised to be even midfield competitive, if the Lambo really is stinkin' up the show, then someone stole a few of FMG's cylinders.
And talking of FMG, I must apologise for nearly taking you out on the straight. Feeble mind watched you go right in the mirror (hand eye coordination was good, just not in connection with brain), I started wandering right too. Nearly sat a little higher in the seat, at that very second. Thankfully, all was good but never the less, very sorry sir.
Someone must've messed with Si's setup too. I was definitely soaring, coming to the end of the race. I'd beaten FMG's Lambo and Si's Merc, maybe I was pushing my luck, when I got to MJ.

I may have to go have a zen moment now, just reminiscing...  Embarrassed

I can't make Spa, probably just as well, I could've be a danger to all.

Sounds like the pecking order was a bit different! Put in a bit of practise but never could get on top of the car so was kinda glad I didn't stay for the race. Tyres just overheated from sliding too much. in the corners, just had no bite from the softs after a few laps making it a bit too tail happy. And running low ride height doesn't seems ot help in anyway!

Watching the British GT at Silverstone last weekend the cars look far more planted, stiffer but still able to take kurbs...

I'm not really happy allowing car swaps this far into a season as it gives some an advantage and others soldiering on a disadvantage. I'm not really getting on with the Porsche but each race I try to unlock it's potential to suit me . I know it's quick in the right hands but same can be said for the McLaren Nissan and Merc yet oddly this season you all feel like you would be quicker in something else   Huh

Having said that, I have let a few have a car change already so if you really must then now is your chance. But I'm having no more Lambos! They had a top 4 lockout last night and we already have quite a few. I'm not really happy allowing this but only fair.
Has everyone got the latest dlc yet? I could allow the Audi then.

If you really want no more Lambos then I could Take a GTR instead and the Epic livery I found for it Wink
With that said I'm happy to struggle on, hopefully my performance will spur me into a breakthrough on the setup front so I can punch a bit higher - always worked for me in GPL (The 1965 Honda took 7 years to really nail but some things take time Grin )

My time will have been misleading last night - the first time I even saw the AC version of Paul Ricard was at about 19:20 in the server last night....
My setup was utterly bodged and I was still learning the track after 2/3rds race distance whistling
No probs on the straight thing, I was watching you through the side window and was ready to take to the blue stuff until I was far enough ahead to pull back across.

On a different note does anyone have the complete replay? Mine is missing the 1st lap and a half as the file was too big  Sad

The Paul Ricard I think is a very good track especially with the layout decided by the crew.

Qualifying
Third place, that was good. I've decided to use the medium tyres because make slow the first lap is bores me  Grin
I've tried only one time because in the rest of the qualyifing I was on the toilet  whistling

Race
Good start, I've reached immediately the second position. In the first laps I've followed Massimo in order to understand if its pace was enough to gain seconds against the other drivers, and the answer was "yes".
I've followed him until the 26th lap, in which I've performed a clean overtake on the longest straight. After the pit I've just managed my 6 seconds until the chequered flag.

Congratulations to all the drivers. As usual SROUK is a landmark from the fairness point of view.
See you at Spa. One of the my favourite tracks.
