so Road Atlanta or VIR?
Road Atlanta doesnt seem to work on the timings.. i managed to get a 5 seconds lap and then it didnt count any laps at all..
personally i would give this track a miss until its sorted.
Plus, VIR full course is bloody fantastic in these cars!
I would have preferred road Atlanta, but if that doesn't work, might as well go for VIR.

Can't find it on my phone right now, but I thought I saw a much more recent release. Don't need to test this 1.1 version as I read your problem in the reviews as well, so I believe you .

May be the 2 test fun races with reverse grid with incoming 911 RSR ver3.0 car cup for next wed? PS Road Athlanta mod is don't have a surface mesh... It's worse. We have a global land relief only here...

Actually I tried both gt40 and p908 at VIR this eve and it wasn't as bad as I expected. Both cars hit the same mph down the back straight but the gt40 needs to start braking a lot sooner than the nimble Porsche so I think that would cause incidents in the harder braking zones. Laptimes werent too dis-similar though I was quicker in the Porsche. (Both with default setups) I do think that the problem with VIR is that you have to spend more time watching the track than focusing on racing and that added to the braking differences don't make it the best track to race these two on - in my humble opinion but upto you if you want to try it. Out of interest, what tracks have these two cars been tested on and found to be quite equal?

Somebody else needs to decide things for this fun race, I don't know what needs testing for the ford/Porsche series.

just run them as is, they are within a second of each other, if the faster people use the porsche then they are just going to have a lonely race.
i will run the GT40.

that's what I was going to suggest too if we did run them. Aliens in the gt40's as they will be more adept with the trickier braking needed.

I was going to pick the GT40 anyhow. Such a sexy looking car. No idea how it drives though.

I did a small test yesterday and I prefer the GT40. So I also go with the GT40.

The p&g version was better looking. If anyone has a good setup for either car it would be useful to post it up to encourage more drivers. Not decided which car to take yet, will have fun trying both properly
