Basically guys, in my opinion we need to forget the concept of the "cars with same performance".
We need to bring all the drivers in the same situation.
For example, we can imagine to have a GT3 championship.
Well, we need to decide for example 8 tracks. Only after we can decide to use 8/4/2 GT3's, with the rule that we must use the same car 1/2/4 times.
In this way, all the people will have all the cars, and with this situation if a GT3 is faster than the another one is not a problem.
We can extends this idea with all the cars we want.
Other my opinions that may increase the fun
- I don't like the traction control. This makes exiciting the phase in which we push the throttle
- I love the ABS because in Assetto Corsa is too easy to lock the tyres.
- Mandatory pits are cool because we've one more ingredient to manage.
- Locked setups (or partially locked) helps in order to reduce the difference of performance among drivers. Even if I never saw problem in order to share my setups.
And I like so much the road cars and the difficult cars. For example
- Ferrari F40 (I love it)
- Alfa 4C
- KTM X-Bow
- Porsche Cayman GT4
- Group C
and I love the Nordschleife
My 2 cents
