For season 4 of AC's championships, we go 40 years back in time to race the Porsche RSR 3.0.

The championship will consist of 6 rounds, raced on the following tracks:

- Round 1 (July 26th): Silverstone 67
- Round 2 (August 2nd) : Bridgehampton
- Round 3 (August 9th): Vallelunga
- Round 4 (August 16th): Riverside
- Round 5 (August 23rd): Poznan
- Round 6 (August 30th): Mugello

Download them individually (click on the names above), or get them all in one TRACKPACK

Points table:-

1st = 30pts
2nd = 25
3rd = 20
4th = 17
5th = 15
6th = 13
7th = 11
8th = 9
9th = 7
10th = 6
11th = 5
12th = 4
13th = 3
14th = 2
15th = 1

You must finish at least 50% of the race to qualify for points.

Qualification procedure:

Only 1 timed lap allowed. So that's 1 outlap, 1 hotlap and then pit in. Aborting a hotlap will be seen as a completed hotlap, so only 1 hotlap attempt allowed.  Doing more hotlaps will result in disqualification. Qualification session length is 5 minutes.

Ok, what ever the bright green one is!

I see you've included bridgehampton again. Did seem to catch people out last time we ran it.

Did we ever run Bridgehampton here? I know we did a fun race at Riverside and although tricky, I think people liked it. Atleast they already had practice this time Cheesy.

MJ, none of my business, I know, but only 5 mins for qualy, even for one hot lap, could become fractious with 15+ drivers all trying to get a clear run. Just saying.

It's not as bad as it seems. Even when a lap takes 2 minutes, you can go out of the pits with 2:01 on the clock. As long as you are on a hotlap before time runs out, you can complete it.

So it's not required to all rush out as soon as the pitlight turns green. There is an element of strategy involved in timing your hotlap. They used 10 minutes at GRC with grids of 30 cars and that was perfectly fine, but what I can remember was people either went out immediatly, or at the latest moment. So when I went out halfway through, I had a clear track Smiley.

It requires people being sensible, but if for whatever reason it becomes a nightmare, then I can reconsider 10 minutes for round 2.

Not my idea Tony and I don't agree with it personally. Bit gimmicky for these tricky cars but then the fun is in the racing  Smiley

Im actually like the idea, It puts pressure on and will mix the starting positions. Whether or not it will work for this car... i dont know. We shall see.

What happens if you do your outlap then mess up your hotlap? Can you start again as long as you dont postca time? Or do you have 2 laps (out and hot) abd thats it.

I'm also not sure if it will work with this car, but the pressure and the mixing is what I'm aiming at.

It's 1 hotlap attempt, so if you are on a hotlap and mess that up, then it's not allowed to ESC back to pits and retry. rFactor always showed broken laps as completed laps, but I have no idea how AC does it.
