Yes, but I ain't racing, so it's kinda hard for me then Grin.

I might need it for incident reports and qually checking.

Can I suggest some effort to investigate the config file regarding this as there is definitely an issue with the session timings and waiting times. Whats been happing for a long time now is that the race will finish then immediately jump to a new event so when I exit I don't see any results and so cant manually save the race replay. We also seem to be getting a lot of waiting time events between sessions of a couple of secs.
We're still running the same settings, any changes are due to changes in the way AC works. Race over time is still set to 300 seconds. Sadly I don't have any access to secret server documentation help that anyone else has so I'd welcome whatever solution people have. However last week was really the time to moan so we could test anything needed on a non championship event  Roll Eyes

I usually save the replay, I will put it up on the web after the race.

EDIT: I dropped out early, so didn't get a full replay, so I won't upload it unless asked.

I'll be giving these a go if that's ok....with only 20 grid slots I'll hang around tonight to see if others want to take them up asI've had little time to practice.

Any idea how to stop the snap oversteer in the middle of every corner? Tried diffs at max and min and inbetween and one at max and the other at min and nothing helped.

stiffen the front up helps, either with dampers or spring 1-click. Does mean a tad more understeer but makes the car more stable. Plus you cant do a heavy hit of the brakes and then quick release or you get lift-off oversteer. Slow in-fast out is the old 911 mantra  Smiley plus use your gears to engine brake and slow the car for good turn in and power out.

Well my first taste of one lap qually ended predictably....in the wall  laugh Though in my defence I was still muttering to myself about this single shot qually after someone pulled out in front of me from the pitlane right at the start of my hotlap and took the racing line  Roll Eyes

Started from near the back with about 3 other hot-shoes  Grin  Must confess it did make the first 10 minutes frantic and fun making our way up the pack whilst racing each other. Had some epic laps fighting my nemesis shark whilst Felix and Maikel snapped at our heels eager to get past too.
Sadly shark faded and those two scampered off down the road leaving me running completely solo for the rest of the race with nobody within 12 secs of me in either direction  Sad so the rest of the race was dull hotlapping trying to keep focused. Last 4 laps I was short-shifting as I wasn't convinced I had enough fuel in the car and crossed the line with fumes for a well earned 'best of the rest' 6th place  Grin

A full grid of RSR's snarling about in the opening laps was a visual and aural delight  punk  Congrats to the mighty fast hombres up front  Cool

Coz of the engine been in the back the front is hyper light and this car has build in understeer, so to overcome that the default setup (and how I setup it) is stiffer springs at the back and slight nose down. This cures the understeer on coast enough, but under power it understeers again and if the rear tyres loose traction its pretty easy to snap if you are more aggressive with the wheel or throttle.

This car can't trail brake. I mean it can but its more the shave the last 5-10 kilometers. So I drive it early braking points, aim the apex, slight throttle maybe around 30-40-50 depends on grip and when it straights up firmly but not slamming it going to full power. That car doesn't like to be pushed.

I'll share my setups later. But in general slam the car to the lowest, stiffen the suspension all around as keeping the diff front to back as stock for height and stiffness. Full camber front with 1 degree - at the back ( I think this is like rule of thumb for AC ) and that's it pretty much. And the toes front 0 back something like 0.05 you can try 0.10 if u feel the car the agile for you.

Firstly, big, big (BIG) apology to Alexey for T1 second lap. Check the replay from my cockpit view and you will see my shifter jumped out of gear into neutral at just the wrong moment.. (Don't know why, it was fine all evening otherwise - just a mis-shift I guess). No way for me to brake correctly or control the car properly in that situation and I went into you, so sorry for that. I did wait for you, but I think you must have have either quit or I missed you going by, as I waited a long time. I hope you managed to carry on.

Rest of race good fun, I really like this car! Also like the qually format, although my front tyres were not up to temperature until half way round my hotlap. Probably not being aggressive enough.

Congrats podium, sorry again Alexey.

Watching the replay I realised what it was I'd forgotten while working on the setup - my car was a good 5cm higher than everyone around me at the front of the grid  Roll Eyes
Extra happy with my pace considering this - also happy with how well it kept up (Although a visit to the wall on lap 4 caused some damage which slowed me a bit, I couldn't get close to a 1:36 after that Sad )

I ran the safer of my 2 race setups in the end - my qualifying and 'angry race' ones had a more tail happy feel (and overinflated tires for qually use), their only difference was fuel load and lowering the pressures a bit for race.
The actual race setup I used had softer rear springs + ARB's, and I think a ride height adjustment to make it tamer and slightly less likely to kill me.
It succeeded at that task but didn't have those final few tenths I needed to compete with the front runners, as a result of the added understeer.

I still managed some great racing with ChrisR and I think it was Maikel who finally passed me in the last 2 or 3 minutes. If I hadn't hit the wall there's a good chance he wouldn't have closed enough and I'd have taken 3rd! Oh well, I'll try something different next time out maybe...

I enjoyed the qualifying, although I'm bound to really mess it up at least once in this series  Grin

Good race in the end.
Second in qualy I had the usualbad start, but manged to keep the second at the first corner, trying to keep Peyo's pace that was pushing badly from the start and creating a small gap on Chris. After few laps I realised that would be impossible to come back on Peyo unless a mistake by him, that will never happen in this race.
At half race Chris exploited a bad exit speed at the Club and get alongside my car at the Abbey taking quite all the track for him cause of the worst entry line he had on the inside. I simply had no space to corner, cause I was on the outside and his car was widening the line, so we had a contact with me going on the grass. I didn't give up anyway.
In a few laps I recovered the gap and at the first corner Chris went wide and I passed him again.
With three mins to go Chris recovered the gap again, but this time it was my turn to go wide and Chris exploited my mistake taking back the second position.
Than came the last lap. The lap of the Divine Providence  Wink

See you Smiley

Ok frex   Be more carefull next time.  Smiley
BTW, as i see in replay ( yours brake lights) , you simlpy lost brake point аt 1st turn. Normal point was 100 m (left hand table) but you was pass table near 15 meters and then press brakes. Wink
I lost 9 position and has big car damage here, but continue the race and finished 8 ( after Mark). I was done 1 overtake ( Chris T).
Thanks all guys for the race. Congratulations podium! "Bulgarian arrow" laptimes was incredible! Need your setup, Peyo!  Grin
