The event is unmoderated – but the usual high standards are expected.

Works/Pro drivers should not use a silver car

Should be fun!  Let's leave the W196 streamliner back in the paddock, OK?

Might be in something Green, will see tomorrow

For a stupid overtake on Isacchini i trow away my 4th position at 2 laps of the finish.Anyway this mod is very fun ,is more important the management of the brake than the speed.

Sorry the results will be delayed as the new 55 mod is not yet in the SROU database...

So you will find them here: http://freeleo.hu/weekly/index.php?page=Results&race=23

Anyway this mod is very fun ,is more important the management of the brake than the speed.

Agreed.

I thought that I had the brakes tamed but after a few laps the green light didn't seem to be worth as much as it was at the start!  Or perhaps there is another factor, who knows?
More races are needed in order to find out.  ;-)

It didn't help that I lost all sound on lap eight either!  That makes the braking even more difficult!

Pelle asked me to post this link.

http://www.gpl1967.dk/GPL/Replays/UKGPL/Replay/55mod/S31/Reims_Fun/index.html

Not much fun was to be had by me. I'm having computer problems. Horrible frame rates this time and massive stutters from chat messages during practice at Watkins Glen have made my last two UKGPL races nothing but a nightmare. And I haven't been driving very well either. Hopefully, I'll get these problems fixed soon.

Thanks guys.

I fixed it! I had GEM set to run the zbuffer in the separate thread instead of just, use zbuffer. I had been playing with it to try to eliminate chat message stutters after installing a GTX1050ti just prior to Watkins Glen. I'm using my Radeon again since it doesn't have that problem. I just couldn't find what setting was incorrect before the Fun race. It tested well with the correct settings and and full field of 55 AIs at Reims. It looks like I'm back in business again. Smiley

Congrats Axel!

Keep in mind that this track is not a problem for the brake. Also if the brake becomes red you have long straights to recover the green.Different is on other tracks like Aintree ,to not speak about Monaco.
