Surprised at the low take up of this but guess it's prime holiday season and several regulars race at Core  Undecided

Can't join this race on Sunday. I'll be out for a dinner and a drink with my friends to celebrate my birthday. Hope you will have some fun.
See you Smiley

(5) Start procedure
*It will be the pole sitter's responsibility to complete the first lap at a pace that allows the rest of the grid to follow comfortably
*There should be no overtaking or hard accelerating/braking
*Drivers should avoid getting too far behind or too close to the driver in front
*Approximately 20 seconds before crossing the start line the pole sitter should slow down to a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*Each following driver shall close up directly behind the driver in front also maintaining a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*The pole sitter should maintain that speed until they cross the start line and then accelerate away to start the race (lap2)
*Each following driver should only accelerate when the driver directly ahead does (they do not have to wait until crossing the start line)
*No overtaking is allowed before crossing the start line at the completion of the formation lap

I guess the formation lap counts towards the 1h race duration, right?

I'm at Rockingham all weekend so won't make this. In the unlikely event I am back there's a 55 Mod race in GPL anyway so will be in that  Smiley

Hi Linus27,

At the moment there is still plenty of unreserved places so I don't think you will have a problem turning up on the night. I will also be organising another Le Mans special race later in the year in a still to be decided prototype car.
