Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the relevant Tracks for this series
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

*It will be the pole sitter's responsibility to complete the first lap at a pace that allows the rest of the grid to follow comfortably
*There should be no overtaking or hard accelerating/braking
*Drivers should avoid getting too far behind or too close to the driver in front
*Approximately 20 seconds before crossing the start line the pole sitter should slow down to a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*Each following driver shall close up directly behind the driver in front also maintaining a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*The pole sitter should maintain that speed until they cross the start line and then accelerate away to start the race (lap2)
*Each following driver should only accelerate when the driver directly ahead does (they do not have to wait until crossing the start line)
*No overtaking is allowed before crossing the start line at the completion of the formation lap

The Summer Season finale this weekend, a mini enduro round Silverstone GP circuit with a pitstop. Don't forget to make sure you have mapped your pitstop buttons and done some practice as it can be a bit fiddly in R3E.

I was planning on setting the fuel multiplier so that we are forced to pit for a decent amount of fuel, but I doubt I will have time to get any praccy in before Saturday, so I will update it then.

The server is set to GT3's @ Silverstone ready for tomorrow nights race.

We will be using fuel x2 for the race, FYI the server is now set to x2 fuel and the race announcement has been updated.

Good thing i looked, 50mins and a pit stop, so need to remember how to pit.

Hope people have actually bought this track this time, not a big fan of the old track but really enjoy this version. Looking forward to this!

Anybdoy found a way to measure actual fuel usage? Thought the new HUDs they introduced which have multiple/ views showing tyre temps and lap delta and fuel would be great but noticed it only shows the default amount per lap that is shown in the setup page. Its pretty clear the actual usage is different.

Hard going especially with Picnic in a league of his own in that Ford GT.

I'm not convinced fuel usage is modelled correctly at all in this game! Myself and Pete were discussing it on TS and based on the setup stated usage it would need two full tanks worth to get to the end. Switching from the mini hud to the full dash style and flicking through the display pages i find its telling me the same expected lap count but is telling me i'm using around 6L per lap which didnt make any sense!

Looking at it now, the usage was actually about correct. Was hastily trying to reduce the amount of fuel i was going to put in expecting a full tank to be doing half distance at the time.

Never really got the Audi working well here, a few changes right before the race helped in the slow corners though but still the front end is a bit vague so you end up making the rear a bit stiffer to help!

That was the last race in the summer series, congratulations to Spanner who took first place in the championship and everyone else who took part in the series.

We have a special race next Sunday, GT3's at Donington using Assetto Corsa R3E race at Brands hatch next Sunday as the Donington race is postponed, then the new Autumn R3E series will kick off, I have decided to run two series, alternating each week. One will be for GT3's, the other for the Silhouettes, I will make an announcement at the weekend.
