Solitude

Looks a bit like Nordschleife, but less. I need to try it tho, never raced it.

Rouen (the one very very long)

We used the veyr long version of Rouen with the Lotus series. Is there an even longer version?

Zolder67

Looks pretty good, will give it a test.

No, we used the longest  Smiley

I'm not a fan of the Solitude conversion for AC. It really highlights how much work needs to be put into a GPL conversion by not having actually done any of it Wink

Keeping with the 60's/70's vibe;

The site you got Kyalami from has a few gems that these cars raced on in the day:

Spa '66 (Really good, shows you how brave/insane the drivers were!)
Sebring (I don't think this is the historic version as I've not tried it - but that just means less piles of sand and/or polos)
Österreich ring. (Haven't tried it but the screen shots are looking good - again they will have raced here and it's a fun, challenging track)

In the same theme already in game you have:
Brands GP
Monza 66 - although they used a variant of the 10k layout in reality, see below
Monza 10K (you'll have to pretend the extra chicanes before the banking are there to be really accurate Wink see GPL's Monza 1000km )
Laguna Seca (different layout but, hey)
Nordschliefe

Then additionally:
Suzuka
Fuji Speedway
Goodwood (It's just been updated again)
I think there's a classic Hockenheim out there - or at least an 80's version with the chicanes in the forest
Le Mans historic
Mosport park (It's a modern version available, but the layout hasn't been changed really since the 60's)

I'm sure there're more, but that's just picking from my own installed tracks

Same Rouen version of race on Lotus  Cheesy

Solitude is, in my opinion, one of best track. It is something between Old Spa and Rouen. For AC, it is a conversion from GPL.

Spa '66 (Really good, shows you how brave/insane the drivers were!)

Ripped from rF2, so I can't use it.

Sebring (I don't think this is the historic version as I've not tried it - but that just means less piles of sand and/or polos)

Planning on using it for the 599xx

In the same theme already in game you have:
Brands GP
Monza 66 - although they used a variant of the 10k layout in reality, see below
Monza 10K (you'll have to pretend the extra chicanes before the banking are there to be really accurate Wink see GPL's Monza 1000km )
Laguna Seca (different layout but, hey)
Nordschliefe

A classic version of Monza sounds good and Laguna as well.

Then additionally:
Suzuka
Fuji Speedway
Goodwood (It's just been updated again)
I think there's a classic Hockenheim out there - or at least an 80's version with the chicanes in the forest
Le Mans historic
Mosport park (It's a modern version available, but the layout hasn't been changed really since the 60's)

Suzuku could be interesting, but not sure if there is a proper version of that track. Fuji could be more suitable. Modern Le Mans is already boring, but the looooong straights on the classic one...no thank you Cheesy. Mosport on the other hand can be nice.

Current tracks that could be in the mix:

Classic Silverstone
Kyalami 67
Imola 72
Ostereichring 79
Classic Monza
Laguna Seca
Mosport
Mid Ohio
Classic Zandvoort (Sandevoerde)
Fuji Speedway
Virginia International Raceway
Zolder 67

That's 12 tracks, so that's 4 too many, but maybe I'll go for a 10 race series, just like the Lotus. Silverstone is my first pick to be dropped.
I still need to test most of those tracks, so anyone any experience with these?

Only comment is that Mid Ohio seems a little heavy in terms of frame rates - this may have been solved since I down loaded my version though.
I recommend a test with something to find out if it can cope with lots of cars online
.

The rest seem OK, with varying degrees of historical accuracy Tongue

It's possible I do 1 more test race, using the findings of Kyalami to restrict the Ferrari.

Which one do you find too far from historical accuracy?

Weelllll, Laguna has gained a few corners from it's original 60's layout as I said. But otherwise it should suffice Wink
And of course the Nords has altered drastically since those days, although you haven't listed it anyway

Was going to suggest the Le Grand Circuit 1967 http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/le-grand-circuit-1967.17288/ but I now see that has already been binned.

1967 World Sportscar Championship comprised the following:
Daytona
Sebring
Monza
Spa
Madonie
Nürburgring
Le Mans
Hockenheimring
Mugello
Brands Hatch
Autodromo di Pergusa
Österrich
Villars-sur-Ollon
Nürburgring

Yes Fabri, that one  thumbup1 Part of it was small part of the old Clermont Ferrand track I think.

I could almost be tempted to pay for it if someone released a worthy historic version. The GPLEA version remains one of my favourite tracks to go for a blast on, in any car angel
In a '65 F1 or a '69 it's amazing

Thanks Ceolmor, that was the list I was looking for. I've never heard of some tracks and some have changed too much for me to fit these cars, but Sebring (not for 599 anymore), Monza, Spa, Mugello, Brands and Österrich will do fine. Finding 4 other tracks shouldn't be too hard, did somebody say include Longford?  Grin
