The UKGPL server has now vanished.
I tried to join the Reiver Eccoss server but couldn't connect.  Perhaps the port forwarding isn't quite right.

Hola everyone!!!

I was not paying attention to when next season was going to start.
I have missed the fist two events for tuesday races. GT and 55s
It is never to late to join the fun, right?

Cheers to all!

Hi Carlos

You can join anytime.  Just vote in the registration threads which are accessible from various places but the most convenient place is our homepage.

When does the Indy thread go up?  I want to lament my inability to be fast on ovals as well as short twisty circuits.  Smiley

Race announcements are usually posted about a week before the event.  But that doesn't stop us putting up a practice server at any time.  I've set UKGPL_4 off as a practice server it will be on a loop all evening.  It will be a bit lonely on your own, hopefully a few other drivers will join.  Slipstreaming will be the name of the game here, and you can't practice that on your own  Smiley

Hi Will

Great to see you back!  As a late entrant you are down as a reserve so you'll have to be prepared to wait until the regulars have had a chance to join the server.  So far despite having 27 registered drivers we have had grids of 15 and 14 for the first 2 races.  So you have a good chance of a regular drive.

Regards

Phil

Thanks Phil. I'll wait and tune up the 555 and keep my fingers crossed. Great to be back.

Cheers,

Sundays are not really working out for me and I will miss the next couple so I registered as Part Time here and will try a few of these on Tuesdays instead.

How many tokens will I have?

Thanks

I'm assuming the Divisional Moderator will class you as an "Am", so you should get 20 + 10 = 30 tokens for race 5.

The available tokens will always be posted in the race announcement.

Was I allowed in?

The Zandort thread says I'm not licensed to enter this series.

Thanks

I've processed your registration. You should be able to see the password now.  If we get more than a full grid (very unlikely) please be prepared to do the honourable thing and leave the server so that someone who is full time and competing for the championship has the opportunity to race.

Thanks Phil.

Yes, I'll wait until there are less than 30 mins left, which I usually do anyway getting the youngest to bed.

Good luck Mike.

Keep an eyeball on the brakeomitter as whilst the track isn't too heavy on brake requirements, as soon as you start to race someone you will find that you tend to keep dabbing the brake to avoid hitting him.  Then you arrive at Tarzan with no brakes and pin him to the fence!  :-)

I love this mod.  Not had as much fun coming nowhere in ages!
