Championship Standings

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Enjoyed that  Grin

But apology to Mark for the contact lap 2 - you went wide onto the grass just before Spoon and I somehow ended up doing exactly the same thing, rear-ending you. I lost some front-end grip, (and I didn't have much to start with), but despite lengthening my braking distances this may have actually improved my car balance overall..! Shame you quit after another brush with the wall, as you me and Matt were all quite close.

Spent the second half of the race chasing Matt. A few minor mistakes from us both, but good fun. Much of the last lap side by side, Matt just getting me at the end.

Congrats Pete and Matt.

Valhalla knows how you hustle that Dekon around, I can't drive him at all  Shocked
Pete scampered off into the distance, whilst the rest of us were falling off all over the place  Grin

I made the foolish decision to reduce the rear wing just before the start, and as usual it was a case
of never change anything you haven't tested... Cry

The car was all over the place and I might have done better if I'd left it more drivable.
Good fun though once I changed how I drove it. Again shame Mark left would have been a good
3 way.

Sorry, it just really wasn't a combo I was enjoying. Any car that understeers is not fun to drive, especially here and neither is oversteer and you get both in these cars! Wasn't really able drive how I wanted to, plus I am always in a rush on Thursday nights as I go swimming so was pretty tired and not really concentrating hard.

Unlike Spanner I really enjoyed throwing the Capri around Suzuka last night. For some reason it's a track I don't usually do well at so was well pleased with the times and consistency I had last night. I found the couple of places where I had real problems with understeer was solved by working out how long to wait before really piling on the power.

Looking at the track records though we were all a long way of the pace!

I too enjoyed the challenge of driving these cars but unlike picnic had a few offs. Got too cocky coming out of the slow left handed when I accelerated to soon and hard and stuffed my Capri into the Armco and got a big crease in the bonnet to remind me not to do it again! Roll Eyes
