I do a little video with some different cuts, all these without penalties. I think that only the first (without cuts) could be right https://youtu.be/ExiiWBRWzDM

Just ask all to be honest and not cut the chicane, last time I drove this track in P&G the barrels and tyres were solid, a wipe out if you hit them.

Just an idea... If we try put the "limit on tyres out" on 1, does it work?

IMPORTANTTo clarify what is allowed in the first chicane. You can use all the road up untill the tyres. Hitting the tyre barrier near the apex is considered a cut, even by an inch. Now please enjoy my paint skills : We need Enna Pergusa's tyre barriers Thanks a lot for the clarification, Jeffrey! S!

I don't really expect a lot of problems with the cutting, but it's better to have it specified beforehand and not have it open to discussion afterwards. Just an idea... If we try put the "limit on tyres out" on 1, does it work?
I don't know how well AC handles it then. I'd rather leave it as it is, as that gives people the opportunity to back off when they cut and not get a drive through forced. If you accidentilly cut, just make sure you don't gain by it. If I get a replay, I'll be watching

And what happens if the cut is during your fastest qualify time. How will that be treated? Just asking...

Ha just proves how different the mind set is of you aliens to us mortals. I just spent an hour online and didn't once attempt to cut that inside corner I actually assumed it would result in a smashed car hitting the tyre stack so from first lap I kept avoiding it, whereas you guys exploited it for a faster laptime! Glad it's been reported and dealt with before the event good work gents This track turned out trickier than I expected. That first chicane is a bugger braking from top speed and downshifting (especially for us manual shift guys ) should make for a good race again though. So all you guys on 1:33 cut the chicane ? Makes me fastest legit racer

Just check times on T1 (and relative speed on chicane), 36,7-36,6 is maybe a good correct T1. I'm doing 1.33.4 with a correct chicane.
Nevertheless i think this chicane will be a serious problem.
Maybe you can put solid tires?

Yes, I think that by cutting the chicane you can be around 0.3 faster
