Sounds like carnage and like giving a bit of leniency is not possible  Lips Sealed. People aren't reporting any incidents, so it seems they are fine with it, but then people leave because they get fed up by being punted  Roll Eyes.

And to think people called these cars boring to drive.

I did quite a lot of practice, was still trying to find a drivable not too slow setup
in qual. I find these cars really tough to drive, they lock the fronts under braking
and then whip the back round when I change down, so hard to find a good compromise
bumps send them flying off in most unpredictable ways. Putting the tyre pressures up
was a big hel, but they are still quirky beasts. I did a few laps of ROuen, and either
that version is wrong or actually really accurate, dunno which, but it looks good
and drives well. The cars are still challenging, but nothing like the masochism or Monaco  thumbup1

Jeffrey can you please leave me on the entry list for tonight's race?

That was a bad idea...

Got punted into the bus stop by some sort of torpedo whistling

I was ashamed for that braking. Not so much to say but it was clearly unintentional. I simply shouldn't have join the race after 12 mins of training.
I will abandon the champ, because I simply have no time to prepare 2 races in a week lately and I have more chances to race on Sundays than on Weds. Evenmore this car need much more training and a good setup to be consistent on the pace and not a danger on track, and I'm quite lost without my faithful car engineer Gavino. He should be back in the near future and I hope to have the chance to train a bit with him preparing a setup for the race at Nordschleife on 20th December. I will start my training with the due advance this time Cheesy

Sorry again Simon  Sad

See you chaps

Wasn't really carnage just a bit too tight on lap 1 with cars running nose to tail and side by side, it meant if a car got a tail slide or out of shape it left no way of avoiding them and that quickly concertinas through the pack. Always a risk on a tight street track. Once lap 1 was out the way I enjoyed some good overtakes and racing/chasing.
People quit too early. Sad

Hope enough of us continue the series to keep up the fun Smiley

LOL, no worries, although I'm still a little tender in the rear end after that.  Wink

I got bent suspension, and almost unuseable steering after a clash with ( I think) Simon's car
I managed to limp to the pits and after a lot of faffing about (having never used the pits before
for repair work) got going again. To be fair I was going to stay anyway in for the replay, and I did
eventually creep into the pits and park it. I need to learn the equivalent of the GTL pit board.

I missed this race because I went to look at a car for sale. It was a really nice looking 2005 Mazda MX-5. Unfortunately, the car had 200,000 miles, and the engine was not well maintained.
