Total nightmare  Sad that’s put an 8 point lead in your favour Chris in our season long fight over 5th in the championship, we were about 1pt apart before this race  Cry gutted.
With only 2 rounds remaining I don’t think I can gain enough points over you to overhaul you for 5th overall.  surrender

I managed to find an extra 2 secs lap pace last night so a good improvement over my practise times but still a shocking 3 secs off the front few guys  Shocked Sad quite painful.

@bob, no worries assumed you must have been wounded by the sudden erratic loss of pace. Car damage really hurt here, I was 6 secs a lap slower with my crabbing rear wheel at the end  Shocked

It was a good and bad race for me.

I was kinda suprised at the extra pace I found all of a sudden, managed to quali 2nd. First corners were good, trying to take it easy. Apologies to ChrisR for the nudge, I just completely misjudged the distance between our cars. Thought I was following close behind and try for a better exit. But either my nose is longer or those exhaust are sticking out quite abit  Tongue

After that I had fun trying to catch up to Felix. I managed some good laps until I, of course, pused to hard and spun. Had a little run in with Fabri aswell, but oh well, shit happens and I wasn't going to catch Felix anyway anymore  Grin

Still had quite some fun with these cars. Finally seem to be getting the hang of them.

.lThen on the penultimate lap, what i thought would be the last lap, fmg got past. Fmg must have hoped it was the last lap cos on the actual last lap he crawled to a snails pace, presumably conserving fuel, and i managed to get the place back.

So a 5th place, my highest this season, more by luck than by judgement  Grin

Nope, it was worse than that!
I made my 2nd mistake of the race and outbreaked myself - clobbering a fence as a result.
This was only because I was pushing hard to make sure I could keep a decent gap back to you.
I'd had an arguement with a telegraph pole just before you passed me (I lost), and had lost so much speed I was. 5 secs down each lap by the time I reached the first hairpin!

It took me ages to set up that pass on you and I was dead chuffed, then I washed out and massively bent my steering. I had 90 degrees lock on just to drive straight after that - if I'd tried to battle you i'd just have crashed into you so I tried to make it easy.

Pleased to hold onto 6th of I'm honest, still up a couple from my qualifying position so can't complain I guess.

Dangerous but fun track to drive, and enjoyed some good battles. As always in AC though I struggle to get enough lock on to get around the tight corners and was really losing time at the hairpins, especially the last one. I don't think AC works well with low rotation wheels like mine; either that or I don't have it set up correctly (Driver's excuse #124)..!

Still a fun race, although far too many mis-shifts this time and my gearbox eventually gave out. Congrats podium.

Forgot to ask, did anybody find any bugs on this track. Like invisible walls or falling through the ground?
