Hehe Porco,  Grin it was nice to have someone to hunt at the end though Bob was good too for chasing for several laps before that (why were you so far back Bob? You had good pace).

Front 5 were too quick for me in qually. I hadn’t once broken into the 32’s so started 6th.
Fluffed a gear on start so lucky I wasn’t collected by anyone. Did similar up at turn 2 and could have been a disaster with team mate Stefan as I skidded across the apex but thankfully he kept his wits and avoided me   Kiss
I then chased Matteo and Porco for quite a few laps until Matteo had a huge crash at T1 ahead of me  Shocked I hit his fast spinning car square on hard and thought that’s it, race over  Sad but other than some damage I seemed still able to push thankfully, even got into the 32’s finally a bit later !  Smiley
Then Had a quiet race for a while other than catching well behaved lapped cars. Then in the dying laps I noticed I was taking good time out of Porco ahead and thought he might be low on fuel so I chased hard but he kept it steady ahead and finished 5th. Smiley

Grin So far back because I made one mistake and went for a swim in the lake. Had to go to pits to dry out plug leads.

I had a pretty good race until i spun on the long right hander up the hill.. after that it was just a matter of finishing,  felix was too far ahead to catch and i think fmg was about 5 seconds behind, so i just had to stay clean and bring the car home..

Km looking forward to next weeks race Cheesy

A 'black hole' in the lake mentioned by Bob was the only weird thing I found apart from the usual 'leaded' hay-bale Roll Eyes

Is that the small lake on the right side of the long right hander?

If it's another lake behind solid objects, then I'm fine with such a back hole, but not when it's easily accessible.

The lake is in the middle of the park outside a fast left hander. It's easy to loose control and slide into that lake.

Also I noticed some weird mesh gaps in some place, although not causing any serious problems.

Thanks, then I think we are on the some lake. It's on the outside of the fast left hander where the long right hander curves around the lake.

The 67 version only had a curb there, "newer" are versions have an armco there, so I think they are recommended in the future.

Yeah but you had to get it pretty badly wrong to end up in that lake, it’s a long way from the track. I wouldn’t discount using this again because of that.

The other version have armco. These curbs kinds act like armco anyway, but the armco is a bit safer IMO.

I don't really know what other cars would suit this track. Other classics are often too wide or fast while modern cars don't fit here really. Maybe some slower classics?

My own fault going for a swim, got too close to Sutol and clipped the curb and in I went, rest of race OK, would use this track again.  thumbup1

A lot of my practice was in the 917, 330, 908 and - erm - SUV's  Grin
Anything 60's feels and looks amazing here - although passing a prototype could be a tad tricky here. The 67 F1 cars should be OK as we seemed to manage ok with the 63's  Wink Chris and I even managed a bit of side by side before he buggered off up the road away from me...
Just maybe nothing quicker than early 70's as then it will just get silly (I tried the Ferrari 2004 for a laugh - that would be unracable here it's so fast. The Fez 643 is fun but probably hotlap only. The Jordan and Formula Easter cars would probably work though.

You are great at finding these kind of bugs.  Grin
