Championship Standings

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

I really wanted to do this race, I love this new version of Imola.
Work keeps getting in the way of racing.
I will put some more events on tommorow, up to the end of the year
Not sure about next year. Would like to maybe run some historic AC events
but don't want to tread on Jeffrey's toes angel

Does this mean this mean you're thinking of running historic AC events on a Thursday night instead of RRE, only my all singing maintenance/anti-virus stopped me from downloading AC. I enjoyed it early on but a large update caused the problem!

Apparently Norton AV can be setup to allow AC to download the file which my last AV blocked. I am giving the GTL Christmas Special with NoGrip a miss as I am too far off the pace and race purely for pleasure and don't want to get in the way of competitive team drivers. So if anyone can tell me how to setup up Norton and link to AC download I'm happy to have a go at trying to get AC and give it a whirl! thumbup1 rockon

Whoops Duf Gen,  Roll Eyes Wrong Sim.

As I never delete anything and I found AC (I'd just deleted the desk top short cut). So it's now been upgraded and wheel setup and I'm trying to practice the E30 Grp A beemer at the 1966 Silverstone but can't get it to run on the track! surrender helpsmilie

AC now working OK - a couple of files including directX 10 were missing from the original installation.  Roll Eyes Can now drive the car OK but will need some advice on setting up the wheel as it is too direct and just a slight hand movement is required will now try looking a the Wheel setup and see if I can sort it!  Huh

I would like to run "something" historic on Thursdays, as we have done for many years
Jeffrey is running alternate modern/historic on Weds which makes also doing
historic on Thursdays a bit suspect. Part of me has had enough of putting on
events when only a few stalwarts turn up. But I would like to do something..
At it's peak we had grids or 20+ for P&G

I don't care too much what the programme is, I was hoping that PCars2 would be
a good option, but my initial testing of it caused me to get my money back.
maybe it will get better, but I am not holding my breath.

R3E is muchly ignored, which is a shame because it is by far the easiest option for
multi car events, as it has already fairly balanced car sets, whereas AC though
very good, needs unreasonable testing time to find matched cars, or needs
spec races. Jeffrey's choice of cars and tracks has been inspirational this year
and I could just stop doing Thursdays, and just let someone else do all the work  Roll Eyes

Now set up AC wheel to my likening but can't see how to crank up rear end to improve turn in or change final drive but I think I've done enough to be able to start next season with help.

Re P&G I think may be the format I had trouble with.

Willing to try it out if I can load the format OK!

Another option for those who want to race R3E would be for us all to decamp over to Race Department. They run events every Thursday and Sunday which seem very well supported and racing standards are decent as far as I can tell. No disrespect to Matt or SRW intended here btw.

This site seems to be doing well with AC on Wednesdays and the ever popular GTL on Mondays so maybe it's best to focus on that.

Just a thought.....don't shoot  angel
