Hi All,

My next Sunday night AC event will be LMP1's at Daytona Roadcourse on 17/12/17

I am planning on using the Audi & Toyota's that we used at the recent Lemans race.

I haven't decided whether to make it a sprint or pitstop/mini enduro yet (depends on numbers).

If you are interested in taking part please add your name to this thread

List so far:

Less than two weeks to go, who is interested?

If its going to be a small grid I will reduce the race length to a 30 min sprint

Just realised this is AC oops

Did a very quick test of the LMP1s on default setups (at Monza Jr because it's simple) and even the Audi and Toyota are too far apart to compete with each other imo. 2015 Porsche seems a bit closer to the Audi but top speed will probably make it too quick at Daytona.....but what do I know, this is AC.

Monza Jr Times:

Porsche 2016: 42.566
Porsche 2015: 43.498
Audi: 43.817
Toyota: 44.732

@GT

At the last LMP1 race we did (Lemans) we used the Audi and Toyota after the general consensus was that they where quite close in performance. As it is only a one off fun race I am going to use the same choice, if we decide to do a series in these cars I might do a bit more testing to get a better idea of the situation. Good to see you entering out on track again on a Sunday night, if your not careful you will become a regular again!

I don't have a race at core,  so I might be interested. Depends on how I enjoy the car and track.

Audi against Toyota is the closest you can get with LMP1 cars in AC. Both are from the same year and drove against each other irl. Just did a quick search and according to RSRLiveTiming the average laptime from the ten fastest laps on Monza (comparable characteristics to Daytona) is 1:34.784 for the Audi and 1:34.623 for the Toyota. The 2015 Porsche is 2,5 seconds faster, the 2016 model nearly 4 seconds.

Hi all

I'm an AC driver who has just registered here.  I been looking for a group that do not constantly race in either road cars or GT3, so this might be the place for me.

So I'd like to book a place in this event please.  [Toyota]
