Had a good race. Managed to snatch the pole from Felix in the last minutes of quali.

At the start it was quite funny to see him and Baikal driving off while everyone was still standing still  Grin
I'm guessing you were trying to use the clutch for starts ( which doesn't work in this car ).  Shame as we could've had a battle for top 3. Now it was just Matteo and me up front.

Still enjoyed the car and looking forward to see how it drives on the rest of the tracks.

One of many cars in AC I would probably never have looked at, yet actually was quite fun to drive; so thanks for the chance to try it out. Enjoyed the race but a series of minor offs kept losing me places. Running similar pace to those around me though and always had someone to chase right to the end, so was good fun.

Congrats podium.

I think that was indirectly my fault.. i asked him to stream and at the last minute he had to alt-tab, he heard engines, tabbed back in and set off lol.

That was an awkward moment at the start of the race... Yes, as Chris mentioned, I had to go change to nvidia software to stream the race at last minute and when I came back to AC all red lights were already on. I guess what happened then was what Maikel said, I think I pressed the clutch and engaged 1st gear, which immediately set the car in motion. For a split second I lift of the gas but then I realised what I had just done and accelerated again to lose as little time as possible since I had to do a drive through.

A drive through at Silverstone in AC is not that penalising, since you can go full throttle entering the pits while everybody else is going around the very slow last series of corners. I came out in 7th or 8th, which was not that bad considering.
On that same lap the driver in front of me was driving a bit errant and had a really poor exit on to the old main straight and I went on his inside braking for Copse. I guess he didn't see me and closed the dor when I was already fully committed. When I saw it I braked and that caused my car to spin on contact. On recovering on my way to Maggotts someone had gone of track came back and bumped me on the side which caused me to lose control and went into the grass. I did a bit of all terrain and crossed joined the track after Becketts. With all this incidents I was down in 14th place.

After that I put my head down and started to pass the field and recover up till 3rd in the end. There were a few good moments of driving, specially the last few laps were I attacked Simon until I forced a little mistake from him that allowed my to get on his inside breaking for T1 and overtake him.

In the end was a fun race for me and the 3rd final position was not that bad considering the pace of Maikel and Matteo, which might have finished ahead of me any way.  Smiley

I am. All was fine yesterday.  But i've resize all ( exclude one from ChrisR) 4k skins in skinpack before use. I prefer 2k skins for best performance  Wink

thanks Jeffrey mine was correct.

Well I managed to finish the race. It probably wasn't the best idea as my arm is pretty sore today. So I think I will be giving it a full rest now. Hopefully be ok for next week.

Well, I disliked the car in practice and qualifying - but it was great fun in the race Grin

I qualified 9th which is OK considering I didn't do any practice (too much playing in the Group C's) and even jumped someone off the line, what with the 2 drive thru's ahead that would have effectively put me up to 6th immediately.
Unfortunatly Bob caught my rear end entering T1, which half span me and resulted in my sliding all the way to the pit line before regaining control - I think I was last bar one when re-joining.

A couple of cars ahead were kind enough to fall off or run wide on the first lap which elevated me to something like 12th for the start of lap 2.
I rapidly found myself closing back up on Bob who had also been slowed in our contact and was fighting his way through the field just ahead, I think he was the hardest pass I had all race as it took 6 or 7 laps and ended with me going around the outside of what may or may not still be hanger corner..

After that we continued our battle with him pressuring me for a while before dropping back - I was caught by Felix a few laps after this and did an 'ish' job of defending up until I put a rear wheel on the dirt allowing him to get the drop on me down the old start/finish straight.

I think my next fight was with Frex, which lasted most of the rest of the race until he speared off the track behind and into a wall - That left Baikel about 2 seconds back where he had been pacing me for ages.

Right at the end I caught a struggling Mark and found myself close approaching the final chicane - it would have been rude not to have taken a lunge  Wink
Unfortunately I bounced over the inner kurb and slid into Mark, pushing us both off track. I ensured he rejoined first and tried to position myself to have a go onto the start straight - this didn't work as my tyres were so hot after the dive.
In the end I was lucky to hold Baikal off!

The replay is amazing for this race, especially the sound - anyone not running it I recommend the Fonsecker mod for this car angel

This is probably the first time I've ever enjoyed a race at a modern version of Silverstone - so good call on the cars Jeffery!
Also I seemed to be in a Z car so my skin was fine too.

My fault first corner FMG, cold tyres and locked up, please accept apologies ( I had to slow you down somehow) but in the end many good laps racing, thanks. A good start to this series and hope to improve for next race.

I had an enjoyable race, even though I was lonely for most of the race, I was really pushing as I knew Felix would be coming towards the end, but I didn't quite have enough as he passed me onto the final lap. I defended a little, but he was much faster and proper defensive driving in that car is a bit of a waste of time because of the throttle control needed on exit from the slow speed stuff that you are going to easily get the cut back from the other car and lose out anyway. Well done to Felix for the come back drive.

It was nice to drive something more modern and it was quite a challenge. The differentials are set to slip the back end like heck which I don't like, but it was a challenge to keep under control so that was interesting. Definitely need to drive quite smoothly and they look super cool and it was certainly nice to get back to proper tracks and not these silly thin roads! Tongue

Did my best in quali, but was not enough to start better than third.

After Felix jumped the start I tried to put some pressure to Maikel pushing as hard as I can, but he was simply too fast and I could not keep his pace. So my race became an hotlap competition in which I lose against Maikel. Very consistent driving by him. Well done  Wink

See you for the next
