It doesn't really matter Francesco, so long as you stay in the slipstream of someone who is going to do a 2:45 then so will you!   

Thanks to the servers from Phil and Axel, and a useful tow from Axel's Merc, I managed a mid 2:45 in the Lancia.  I may have over-egged the 5th ratio a tad as it was like a ruptured duck without Axel's Merc in front of it. 

All I need now is a grid full of Mercs, all of whom throw themselves in the sand on the last lap.  Surly that's not too much to ask!

I can see that Uli has been added to the championship standings and can probably now see the password but since he isn't on the drivers list on the announcement he won't know how many Thornton Dollars he has to spend.  

As I understand the regs, you are only going to give him $5 and an additional $10 for starting.  If he uses a Lancia he will be skint for Reims and have to use a Vanwall?

Seems a bit stingy.

But, until we know whether he is Pro or Am in the 55's, we might have to reserve judgement about his Thornton Dollar allocation for the next races.

Of course, once we know what we currently don't know, it will no longer be an unknown and we will then know how many dollars to allocate.........if you know what I mean  

I therefore propose that we give Uli an initial sum of $10, plus his $10 for crossing the start line = $20 for the first race?

 If he chooses to blow all his funds on Monza10k he will be handicapped for Reims ( after all the token system is designed to limit how many tracks the uber cars can be used on ). I appreciate that others have been able to save up their $'s from previous events, but at the season start most of the Pro drivers had to make similar judgements about which cars they would use? It is just a little unfortunate that Uli has decided to join the series when we have two high speed tracks one after the other.

Welcome to the 55GP series Uli.  You will have enough tokens for the Ferrari 625 and that should leave you with 15 tokens for the next race at Reims.

I'm pretty sure you are a Pro driver, your race history shows you having lots of pole positions and race wins in the 65 Pro races

Lap 2 Para, melee was well under way when I joined. GPL CTD'd rather than sort teh mess, I suppose.

Pleasant race on the first laps, fighting with Phil and Fran, until a Mercedes SL rear ended me at Parabolica, then  screen froozed and CTD ...

first shot by greg, then freeze screen in second place, just before lesmo 1.
When will i be able to end a race in Monza...in good position ?

anothers thougths of career end. it was a horific driving year.
was really killed often....maybe i start entering the investigations in my cases

Was having a good battle with Phil and Fran when my game crashed to desktop.  It often happens when I'm backing it in to Parabolical
