I not found any solution to solve problems with paddles I m forced to use manual shift and I m 2-3 seconds most slow so,  mostly it s worst to my arm,  the Ziu Era is finished in this way

You'll still be 3-4 seconds faster than me Ziu!  Sympathies regarding the arm, I get upper arm pain in my right arm every time I race (often the same driving on the road, unfortunately), so know what a drag that can be.  H

Maybe you dont understood....to replace the bones of my elbow with screws and plates on my arm i had an operation of 4 hours and i cannot more extend my left arm with consequences to the tendons until my hand, sorry if it's cheap or you want a match also to see who between me and you have the worst arm ? I have a screw that cross my elbow, it is the hinge of my elbow, every time i turn my steering wheel if i use like word "pain" it s silly thing. Now ask to yourself where i find the seconds on my laps, because this seconds not are never enough !

Sorry if I caused offence Ziu, no, I did not know all the details, but in any case it was NOT meant to make light of your problem. I was actually trying to be encouraging, and it obviously went very wrong. It was in no way meant to compare my ailment with yours, it doesn't even come close.  I was in fact completely unaware you had that level of damage.  I compliment you on your speed and perseverance under those circumstances.  Sad

Ziu, I'm pretty sure Huggy did not mean to make light of your difficulties. Possibly something got missed in translation.

hehe, we do love you Ziu, you know that  Wink
Not sure what car to use tonight. I am fastest in the Nissan (is there a Nissan? something japanese)
I have only done a few test laps in each car. The Beemer is pure masochism, the Pork is not much better for me
I will do a few laps when I get home later and decide. I was doing 2:05s in them all except the Nissan which
was, for me quite  a bit faster here. My rabbits are rather old and fat, no match for Sardinian hares....

Matt your rabbit is very fat,  What do you feed him?
If you rabbit go head to eat so much he could become a little pig with big ears

Despite the performance, I remain pessimistic. After the second race I was very tired and aching and the first mistake in race 1 was determined by a mistake by changing gear from 2 to 3 but I put 1.
However, for the moment I do not think about buying a new g27, this is a challenge for me I can only hope to improve in the coming weeks with training and practice.
However race 1 and race 2 were fun, especially the first four laps with Matt and Clive, I felt like I was in the middle of a sandwich. I am also convinced that I chose the best car for this track so the performance was determined by Porsche and not by the driver's ability, I just tried not to make things worse.
Surely we will have a fun series and with new scenarios every race, the formula with these cars works well.

Grats Geoffers and I'm very sorry Matt, I was hoping to have a very long battle with you, you were very fast on the straights and effective in the deep braking, you really busy me.

I enjoyed both races, race one was a long tussle with Roger in the disturbingly fast Beemer, which
was visibly faster on the straight  Shocked Good driving from Roger so we didn't tangle anywhere  thumbup1

Race two, managed to avoid Geoffers spin, and the "3 into one doesn't go" at T1 and somehow got in front
of Ziu  Grin I have no doubt you would have passed somewhere eventually Ziu, but was fun while it lasted
I went off a bit letting him and I think Erling through. I then tried to hound Erling as best as I could
but he was a bit quicker, though I managed to keep Clive behind.

Great stuff. I just took the cars I found most drivable here, I need to do some practice in the Beemer and Pork
for other rounds.

Huge grats to Ziu who is still able to drive faster than the rest of us even with a very painful arm.  I Am Not Worthy I did not think that anyone would go sub 2:00mins, but he clipped 2 secs off that prediction!!!

The only preparation that I did for this race was a few laps on Sunday just to check that I had all of the cars, in all the right places, for the server. I kind of knew the track from previous races and remember using the Skyline a couple of seasons back, but any setups I might have had, have been lost in my rebuilding of GTL to a stable and working platform.

So, practice for the first race and I initially picked the BMW ...just because.... and found myself following Matt in the Skyline for a few laps. Hmmm that Skyline looked quick, maybe I should give that a spin?
After a few laps I was liking the Nissan and seemed to be posting laps that might get me towards the front of the grid, until Ziu unleashed his Porker  Shocked.
Decided to stick with the Nissan for race 1 and it was hectic in the first laps with Roger chasing Ziu and Geoffers ahead. Not sure what happened but , Roger's car suddenly looked very unstable and eventually went way wide at T3 allowing me through to chase after Geoffers.
Ha!! some chance of that!! Ziu and Geoffers just drove away from me. But I was able to ease away from Roger and Matt, who were arguing about the place behind. The rest of the race was quite lonely and I drove my own race to the flag.

Race 2 I decided to use a different car ( just to preserve my options for later in the series ) and rolled out the Beemer.
After the debacle at T1 I emerged from a cloud of metalwork and rubber smoke to find myself almost alongside Ziu for 2nd place and with Matt leading??!! Not being one to look too closely when gifted that sort of luck I chased the 2 leaders hard and hoped to escape from those recovering behind.
Maybe I should have done a little more preparation on my setup, because the left rear tyre was glowing red after the first 5 laps and was suffering from tremendous tyre wear.....I cannot believe that it was my driving???  Roll Eyes.
Geoffers caught me and soon found a way past in his BMW, but then he opted to test the concrete pit wall and I think that finished his race. Again I had a steady run to the flag just trying to keep the tyres alive and very grateful that no-one was pressing me from behind!!

Thanks Tony for what looks like a fun season  Wink
