Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: Note early race start.

Hi Tony, I have a problem (when haven't I  Wink)

Despite the Brno 65 being shown in my Location file, I can't log on, it says track not installed. Seem to remember that when our site was moved on the host server there was mention of a new IP.  Has our IP changed or I have I a problem?  Roll Eyes

Am gonna give it a try in the Por.  Very little practice so maybe will just start in the back, but then I usually do anyway.  Hope I can keep the rear of the car in the rear as it always seemed to be a bit of a spinner to me.  Give me plenty of room guys.

See you all at the track

Thanks Tony, I stand corrected but I can't remember that far back!   Huh  In the event I didn't have any chance to practice yesterday.

With Ziu gone, there's no one to put Geoffers under pressure, and it seems he's stopped making errors as a result.  Good for the sporting side, but bad news for mine and everyone else's race results..  Wink

Race 1:
Unsurprisingly Geoffers was on pole. Surprised though to be outdragged by Tony towards T1 after the start, but that Nissan is no slouch.  Bad news however if I wanted to put some modicum of pressure on Geoffers. Unless Tony would be faster in race than qual, I had to find a way past quickly.  Fortunately an opportunity presented itself, when Tony had a small moment going over a kerb.  Free to chase after Geoffers then, but it never became more than a chase.  Couldn't match his pace, and he didn't make any mistakes, so no chances of an overtake.  Grats for the win and to Tony for completing the podium.

Race 2:
Neither Geoff nor I changed cars, so all looked set for a continuation of race 1.  Surprised Geoffers didn't grab pole, but didn't matter - he just outdragged me down to T1 and we were back to our positions of race 1.  He was uncharacteristically slow over the early laps, so I stayed close, but he may just have been toying with me.  Soon changed though; after biting its time all through race 1, the 911 finally decided to pounce. Mugged me in T1, when I braked too deep into the corner, losing the rear and doing a full pirouette. Surprised it didn't happen sooner to be honest.  Race decided there; with a 7-sec gap, all possible pressure on Geoffers was gone, so he could cruise home.  I even repeated the mistake later in the same place.  Prevented the spin, but had to dive deep into the sandbox in the process, losing just as much time. Lonely run to the finish after these.  Grats again to Geoffers for the win, and Matt for filling the podium.
