Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit stops: Not required

Server: simracing.org WEDNESDAY
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: Note early race start.

Here is a top tip from Roguk

To be able to practise in the light go to Gamedata

Locations, Donington. Open .GDB file with notepad and

change line

Practice1start = 06:00 to 10:00 and save.

Thanks Roger  thumbup1

PS Hope this doesn't cause missmatch errors tonight  Embarrassed  Maybe changing back to default setting before going online would be prudent.

Did a lot of praccy on this track.

Made a second GTL install on W10 for using my Thrustmaster H-Shifter with the game which imo improves the car's handling a bit
without loosing time.
Also installed GTR2/P&G in W10 and compared the Porkas on this track. Forgot how good that mod is.

So reached a pb of 1:50.2 before entering race night. Could improve to 1:49.8 in free praccy, then to 1:49,6 in quali (5th) and to 1:49.43
during the race which really made me happy.

As already posted, the Porka is and stays a ride on a razor blade at least on this track and I had several offs chasing Tony and Roger.
Sorry Bob for the bump - on some places the Porka was unexpectedly fast and I could brake a lot later than your Ecsort. But I misjudged.
Sorry again.
After all I was glad to see the chequered flag ind this first race (race two was completely forgettable).

Thanks Tony and all involves for organizing.

CU next week.
