Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None.

Hope I can make this one, depends on the when the "boss lady" wants to depart on a short road trip to see family a couple of hundred miles away for our Thursday  Thanksgiving day get together.  Learned after over 50 yrs together as they say, "A happy wife is a happy life".

Won't make this race as we are going to be on the road shortly.  Wife wan'ts to leave this PM so she can spend more time with the kids and grand kids.  Myself and my daughter know the real reason is she wants to be there when the cooking starts early in the morning.  Somebody has to be the supervisor.....
Have fun all!!!

Grats Geoffers and Fulvio. Since second lap my car was with a suspension damaged I had a problem overtaking Fulvio but battles sometime are so. It has been a race incident. Without any problem I could have a battle with Geoffers until last meter...

Wonderful track!  Smiley

Yes indeed Erling one of my favourites. Was lucky enough to go to the Revival event there last year when we were on our way back from holiday. Being a racing mad youngster in the 1960s I read about these old road circuit events, they always seemed to be very atmospheric & pictures showed they were attended by huge crowds. Of course we could not afford to go to any of these events in far away places back then, just the odd meeting at Silverstone, Goodwood or Brands Hatch. Often think it would be great to be transported back to that era & be part of the theatre of these great old circuits.

Anyway enough of that. Really did not expect this result, I thought Ziu's recent experience with the Mercedes would see him disappear into the distance, but he got a bad start & I was able to grab the lead. Lost it momentarily on the long straight when Fulvio drafted past & he was half a car length in front approaching the braking zone at the end, was not going to contest the corner this early in the race & risk a collision so lifted off early only for Fulvio to lift even earlier so I regained the lead almost by default!  Shocked
Pulled away a little through the twisty sections & by the straight on lap 2 I was far enough ahead not to be slipstreamed. There seemed to be a close fight behind between Fulvio, Ziu & Clive which allowed me to get further ahead & by the time Ziu headed for the pits I was 11s ahead. Continued to lap 8 before pitting, went ok with just fuel but messed up cancelling the pit limiter when leaving, thought it hadn't disengaged when it had, so cancelled it again which of course re-engaged it, so I was nearly at the first corner by the time I had sorted it out Roll Eyes.

Had 20s over Ziu by now but that was halved when I braked too late at the end of the long straight & got stuck against the straw bales, had to reverse to get going again. Regained the lead when Clive pitted & was set for a careful drive to the finish, things got a little tense when I had a spin through the twisties along by the river, luckily ended up facing the right way & carried on only losing 3-4s oops. Took it very easy on the last lap & brought it home.

Congrats to Ziu & Fulvio  clap clap well done all finishers & welcome to Marco, hope you join us again thumbup1

Nice to actually finish a race on this track for a change. In the past I have normally binned it at the twisty section near the end of the lap. Didn't actually race anyone for most of the event but I did enjoy the Merc on this track. Not much more to add but it was quite exciting when I came bombing around a turn to see a black rectangle lying across the track which as I approached turned into the upturned car of Seniordan running down the track on his roof! Managed to just avoid his wreck but it was hard to judge which side to pass him on.

I'm more than pleased to end 5th here. As always the aliens were well out of reach but being the first of the humans should merit a reward in itself  Wink I don't think -at least I don't remember- ever having raced this track before and it's a good thing I took the LM55 Merc out the night before the race to get my bearings. Tracks like this are all about getting into a nice groove or flow and I managed that after many many mishaps. On race night I intended to just stay in that flow without worrying about being first or last. And that's just what I did. I resisted the temptation to try and keep up with the Alpha Centaurians which would have ended in tears anyway and nobody came challenging me from behind so all I had to do was keep my head which worked for once.

All I wonder about now is why I've been driving the Gullwing until now. It's so much slower. Just because it's pretty? blink

Looking at the Championship one has to wonder whether Geoff isn't secretly German. Three in a row! Congratulieren, Herr von Geoffers.

Yeh I noticed that I had won all three German races  blink I guarantee I won't win the finale at Le Mans, just cannot drive those big Massers, completely uncontrollable, I will be in a Fezza or Aston there I think.  surrender
