Championship Standings here

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (10 mins)
Race: 20:30 (14 laps)

Track: Zandvoort (National) Not '67 or '75 Download this

Cars allowed

Class A
Abarth 1000 TCR Download this
Pirin Fiat Download this

Class B
Abarth 1000 TC Corsa Download this
Simca 1150 Abarth Download this

Car restrictions: Three drives per car, six drives per class. For details click HERE

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: Note early race start time.

IMPORTANT

Some of the cars were quite tricky to get to show up on the server (one of them is a mod built on the back of another mod  Roll Eyes  )

I have them all running now but it might be a good idea if drivers who are taking part in this event download the cars and test them online (sooner rather than later please).

Post if you get a problem please. This gives me some time to try to fix any potential problems.

Thanks

Tony

Make sure you chose the faster of the Pirin Fiat's. One is s l o w. And for those who have the advanced setup.....do not reduce the radiator opening. I did and the car expired on the third lap!

IMPORTANT

The Pirin Fiat fuel tank is too small for some of the longer distance races in this series.

Please upload this file (very small) http://www.mediafire.com/file/lvd45hjl5vc41lf/Pirin_Fiat_fuel_fix.zip and extract into GameData/Teams/ExtraCars/Fiat850 folder and allow to overwrite.

Whilst it is not an issue for the first two races it is best if everyone does this upgrade before the series starts.

Thank you

Tony

Must we, or can we, change car and/or class between races ?

Scoring mentions that only 5 races out of 12 counts. Is that really true, and if so, what's the reasoning behind that ?

You can keep the same car for both races, or change cars, or change class. entirely up to you. Just keep within your allotted car drive quota.

It's 5 races out of 6 that count, as you can only have six races per class.
