Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

I dont want talk about the race because yesterday i had the best car for drive on this circuit and i m sure that if Geoffers and Erling was with the same car we could have a different results. The only one that drove Pirin in race 1 was Matt but i m sure that he was a little slow than me  because he not was fine maybe because he has flu, fever and this is reason of back and neck very painful  and the eyes are watering, then it s clare that Geoffers was in ClassB, Erling was in Class B, Matt was sick, Clive was absent, Tony was dispatching the Thai time zone and Kurt i m sure had some problem with his Steering Wheel. All this problems made the Ziu win, it means that yesterday Ziu was lucky.

But there is one thing that makes me worry, yesterday we were few. A grid with only seven drivers is poor and sad. I started driving here on SROUK in 2015 and I remember we had a grid of sixteen or seventeen drivers, yet it seems that GT Legends has not gone out of fashion despite its age. I hope to continue driving here but if then the grid becomes even shorter?    Roll Eyes

"MAtt was sick"  lol lol lol I might have a been a bit off pace with little practice, but I am as healthly as a knackered old man can be  Grin
Did I fall off somewhere? can't remember, must be getting senile.... you were 3 secs faster than I was Ziu, and you stayed on track
That is why you won both races. I agreee about the low turnout though, where was everyone? we usually get quite a few more
on Mondays. Maybe people don't like these cars? I find them difficult to drive. Geoffers was mighty in the Simca thing, that wants
to kill you at every corner entry and exit, but I was struggling with it so much I swapped for the more stable baby fiat in qual.
I had assumed that everyone would change cars for race 2. If I had stayed with the Pirin the result would likely be the same
as race 1.

I just do not seen able to get these cars to go as fast as others and this certainly showed last night. Race One was a bit dull as I was racing on my own for most of the race. Race Two was better but only because I had fun keeping Erling behind me. He was very quick in a lower spec car and it was only my pace on the straights that kept me in front of him.

We were down by four regular drivers last night but this happens. Hopefully attendances will pick up again.

BTW I will be without a computer from Thursday to Sunday as I'm away in Norfolk. On the Saturday we are at Snetterton for the HSCC meet. I'm taking a camera but do not expect great results.

Cool

Never loved any of the Hockenheim variants  and - as usual - I did not find / could not create a working setup neither for the Simca
nor for the TCR Roll Eyes
So two sole and frustrating ones in last place with some unintended offs with quitting around halftime.  Tongue

Bill, Clive, Huggy, F. Policardi and roguk missing (any news about him?). And what about Jeep?

@ Tony: have fun at Snetterton

Thanks Kurt  thumbup1

Huggy hasn't taken part in this series so I didn't include him in my headcount. I have emailed Rog but have so far not received a reply.

Like Kurt, I've never been crazy about Hockenheim, so decided to get two of my slow drives in the 1000 TC Corsa out of the way.

Qualified 4th in race 1.  After a few laps, the next car up the road was 6 secs ahead, while behind I had a fairly comfy cushion of about 35 secs. Just as I was settling down into a lonely and boring race, something happened!  My cushion started to deflate, at a fairly alarming rate, and a car grew bigger in the mirror.

Quick IFF check revealed it to be Bob. Bugger all; had forgot he was in a Simca, which is unquestionably quicker than the 1000 TC Corsa.  I'm often lauded for my stability, but if anything, Bob is even more stable. If he's catching me, I'm in trouble!  Couldn't rely on him making a mistake, not at all.  If I wanted to keep my place, I would have to up the pace.

Did my outmost for a few laps, seemingly stabilizing the gap. Started relaxing - and promptly made mistakes, dropping the gap again.  Had to focus once more and thankfully that held to the finish.  Grats to Ziu & the rest of the podium.

Race 2; surprised to qualify 3, ahead of Tony's TCR. He was ahead before the first real turn on L1, but overshot a couple of times, so we swapped places several times.  Eventually he stayed ahead though, except for a late lap where I got ahead (regrettably not the final lap..  Wink)  What he gained on the straights, I seemed to regain under braking and cornering.  Drove like mad for the entire race, but not quite enough.  Again grats to Ziu & the rest of the podium.

Yes, tricky car that Simca. I did get the corner entry sorted, in fact I got it so stable I had to loosen it a bit to get it to turn better. Never did sort the power oversteer, just learnt how to drive it. It required gentle throttle initially, but once it was settled you could give full beans. Basically stiffen the front & soften the rear to make it more driveable.

First race was the most interesting, chasing Matt until he spun at T1, he caught me again after 2-3 laps, held him off for one lap but the Pirin handling eventually told & I had to settle for 3rd.

Second race was a bit lonely, Ziu disappeared into the distance & equally I opened up a big gap to Tony & Erling. Had one moment when I spun at T1, but that was about it, a distant 2nd to Ziu.

Congrats to Ziu on two wins & to Matt & Tony on their podiums.  clap clap clap

Sorry to have missed these races guys but we are having serious building work on our house and things are a little hectic, to say the least.

the situation is unlikely to improve for a couple of weeks, in fact the knocking down of walls and ripping up of floors is likely to get worse before it gets better. I am missing a race with UKGPL tonight because I have things to do, and I am behind with my moderating duties too......nice to know that one is missed lol.

When I can I will be on the grid, but don't expect me until you see me  Wink
