Time of Day Setting: 14:00

Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

I presume it is the 2007 Nordschleife we need for this race.

Not much to say about my race yesterday.  After the first few corners, it turned utterly lonely and pretty much utterly boring.  Tried improving my laptimes and managed to beat my own qual time, which was already an improvement of my offline pb, so that at least was positive.

Am an awe of Geoffers' time in the same car; can't conceive of what I could do to my driving and/or setup to gain over 10 secs  blink   I Am Not Worthy  Grats on a very well deserved win, and grats to Ziu for 2nd.

I took the Pirin Fiat for this race as in practice it seemed the most well behaved around the twisty parts of this circuit. But it was a dead duck on the final long straight. Early on I had let Matt and Bob pass me as they both appeared to be faster than me. Matt went up the road but I managed to reel in Bob and passed him. Each lap the time between us increased and then it was an uneventful cruise to the finish. I did enjoy hot lapping here and thought it a better looking track than the 70's version which I'm more used to.
Grats to all finishers.

Well to be honest Erling, I'm not sure how I was so quick, I hadn't got below 8.40 before going on the server, then did 8.36 in practice & then that qually time!  Shocked

Didn't think I would be consistently fast enough to hold off Ziu, but the extra speed of the TCR was enough to be a couple of seconds faster per lap & miraculously completed all 6 laps without any major mistakes.

Congrats to Ziu & Erling & all finishers. And bad luck to Bill getting DQ almost within sight of the flag.  Cry

Cool

Sorry guys - would have loved to race here with you. But still too many things to prepare and far too hot and sticky
for online racing - so I decided to skip this one.

Even here in Denmark, nearly 1.000 km north of my hometown it's unusual warm for the season. At least some wind.

Hope you're enjoying your holiday Kurt - where are you located ?

This May has just broken our record for most sunny month - it's the sunniest out of 1180 recorded months, so you've picked a good time to visit  Smiley

Thanks Erling.

Skagen region. My 21st stay here since 1969. May/June has always seen the most stable weather here - my
personal experience. Fingers crossed.

Well, the weather forecast could hardly be any better  Smiley

Would have been nice if we could have arranged a get-together, but you're about as far away from where I am as you can get, without leaving the country..  Wink
