IMPORTANT

One of the Ford Anglia skins (#3m) is being a bit shy on the server. Please do not select this car. Sorry.

Ok, I know I'm being a bit thick here but I'm confused.  Huh

In the 1st post it says. . .

"Ford Anglia Download this Note: Car # 50, only"

So what are the extra skins for? and why the comment above "One of the Ford Anglia skins (#3m) is being a bit shy on the server. Please do not select this car. Sorry."

Can we choose other Anglia's other than car #50? If so which ones?

Thanks in advance

The Anglia carset contains cars with differing engines/power/weight. The #50 car is the best match to the selected Imp's and Mini's. Unfortunately the Anglia modder only made one car with the combo we need. So I added some extra Anglia's with the same characteristics to make the grid a bit more interesting.
If, by mistake, you select any other Anglia you will booted from the server with a car not found message.

Hello all, been working on the Anglia setup some and am kindof stumped on what to adjust to get the car to turn good in mid corner and off at higher speeds..  Have the front roll bar all the way to min. and it still understeers badly and sounds like the front tires are being shreaded, maybe it's the nature of the car, fun little ride though and I'm able to run low 54's but feel it could be better maybe.  Also Tony,,,are you going to allow some nibbling of the corners as long as we keep one side of the car on the tarmac??  Should be a great series

See you all Monday

Bob, I'll send you my setup tomorrow, can't promise it will help, but it may do?
Yes nibble the corners, I will be. Just make sure in practice sessions to check for the cut police.
And if your doing low 54's I think I need your setup!

BTW it was due to a comment you made in one of your BSCC race reports that gave me the seed of an idea for this series so basically it's all your fault. Tongue

IMPORTANT

I have become aware of a small cock-up on my behalf regarding the Ford Anglia skin pack that I have provided.

It contains car #50 with a modified engine. This should replace the original car #50 contained within the main Ford Anglia car set.

To check that you have the right cars installed, cars #50, #251, #252 should have a stated speed of 92mph.

Additionally, as a test, I am allowing car #20 to take part in these races.

I will revise the race announcement to reflect this.

Sorry for these frequent messages, who would be in race Admin  no

Thanks Matt, I hadn't changed the server. I'll do that now.

After a number of uninstalling my Anglia folder and reinstalling it unsuccessfully I think I've sorted out a "work around" it. I unzipped my Anglia Zip file in my Season 18 Cars file and copied the Anglia Folder and put in place of the Anglia Folder in My Season 18 Installation,  I can now access the cars # 50, 251 and 252.

I've been online and the selected new car #251/2 works OK so I think I now set to GO.  Need to check in next couple of days with someone else online with me!! Grin

No probs here Bill. I think that it was my G25/Logitech software being dysfunctional. I just had to re-assign the controls and all was OK....other than my laptimes in the Mini!!
