Have to agree Clive. I like Minis but this one is just terrible around here, huge amounts of understeer everywhere. Sad

Anglia is not much better, but the Imp is superb. I could probably get more out of the Anglia, but just can't get enthusiastic about doing lots of practice, so what I've got will have to do.

Matt was witness to a PB of 55secs, other laps were not so good, by quite a margin!!!  Undecided

Like Geoffers I just could not get around the understeer and as always with the minis trying to use power to "pull" the nose into the corner just feels instinctively wrong.  Undecided My brain to muscle communications refuse to press on the gas when my natural instinct is to lift  Huh Which of course just makes things worse  Sad

Thanks for the openness  Smiley   In that spirit, feel I should post mine too; a 54.5, but that was a banzai lap, halfways out of control and not easily repeated..

Well, while we are telling lap times. . .

Imp 53.1
Mini 53.7
Anglia 54.2

I'm hoping for mid pack at best with those.  Roll Eyes

Under 52 seconds with Hillman on qualy lap mean to go on same seconds as Ford Escort 1300 GT or Alfa Junior GTA.  We will see if will be possible do it.  I m curious,  enough extrac some good rabbit.  I hope that my cylinder It has not remained empty since the last race, if it was so i hope that Matt can give to me some new rabbit. This time beat Geoffers will are very hard !  But already I knew this

I am confident that Ziu will produce some high speed rabbits out of his cylinders
