Championship Standings here

Grid/server capacity: 22

RACE ONE

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (10 mins)
Race: 20:30 (20 laps)

Track: Ingliston (Long) Download this

Cars allowed: Mini Cooper 970S Download this Note: Not including '69 Mini.
Hillman Imp Download this Note: Car #'s 131 and 171 only
                       Sunbeam Imp Note: All cars
Ford Anglia Download this Note: Car #20 only
Extra skins for Ford Anglia Download this Allow to overwrite existing files

Car restrictions: One drive maximum per make/per night. You decide which race you enter which make in. For the purposes of this Championship the Hillman and the Sunbeam are considered as one make.

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit stops: Not required

Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: Note early race start.

Just to clear up any possible confusion...............

The Auto Tuner Cup is a three race per night event. On each night you must race one car from each make once only.

Example In Race 1 drive the Mini, Race 2 drive the Imp, Race 3 drive the Ford. It's up to you to decide which make you drive in which race.

Hi Tony,

Making a new install for season 2018.

Just a short question concerning the Anglia:

Over at NG there is a newer V1.0 of the Anglia (from 2015) - http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=42823 -
with some fixes, new wheels and additional cars (for example John McDonald's 1ltr BRM engined car).

Did you have a special reason to use the older version 0.9=

Thanks for clarification.

Cheers.

Kurt

Hi Kurt, we only need one car from the Anglia set (1200 Engine) and it's the same in both revisions so no need to use the most up to date. That's why I have included some extra skins to bump up the Anglia quota.

This series was difficult to setup as I wanted the various makes of cars to be quite close in terms of overall performance. With the help of some very talented  alien's I think it's as good as I could get it. Unfortunately the #50 Anglia was the only one in the carset that had compatable performance with the other makes selected.

Belated HNY all Smiley  When I downloaded Ingliston, there were two folders in the zip, one with the track folder in it, the other with a single file, a DLL "system".  What's that for, and where does it go?     Should be an interesting series. Cheers

The download is a self extracting file. Don't examine it. Just follow the instructions e.g tell it where your GTL main folder lives then leave it to do it's stuff.

I downloaded the track and have just downloaded the cars. I can’t see Hillman Imp or Sunbeam # 171 Tony. Is it my files and are these the numbers were supposed to use?

Just as a follow up to Misnoimis's post above...

I see the #171 Imp in the Icons but the actual car displayed is #172.  Huh

Is this one of the cars we can use?

Thanks in advance

Please explain "can't see" ?  In the folder or in game?

These are the exact same downloads as we used in the recent 1971 RAC BSCC. I have not messed with them.

It's an error by the modder designed to mess with your head. The #171 car is actually #172 in game and in showroom. And yes you should use it.

I can’t see Hillman Imp
Is this resolved now? Or was it just a question about the #171(172) car?
